The globe is as close to the reality of the earth as it is possible to get. Any attempt to display a curved surface on a flat surface (map) introduces a distortion. The flat earth map centered on the north pole totally distorts the southern hemisphere. A flat earth map centered on the south pole would equally distort the northern hemisphere. A great many attempts have been made to generate plane maps of the globe but all distort to one degree or another. The following article shows some of them;

This is a very old and ACCURATE map of flat earth, you know, how maps always were until recently, The only thing we can't map, and neither can globers, is what's beyond the 360 degree ice wall that surrounds us. If globers want to make stuff up they need to actually research flat earth proof. Until they do, they are only making uninformed statements and ridiculous assertions. Remember folks, I knew I was on a globe for almost 50 years and I've heard all the Fake "proof" for a flying spinning ball. Chew on these facts of your favorite so called "planet" and let me know when you're ready to put in the works necessary to debate this correctly. I can show you short video proofs. So do those indoctrinated into the globe, 14.5 billion year universe but only 4.5 for earth, evolution, space travel, aliens, the Big Bang which makes all of the above possible and gravity, dark matter, dark energy and true circumnavigation north/south which can't be done. The globers are so far behind on reality because they only look for globe confirmation. Anybody interested can search themselves by searching flat earth proofs and typing "flat earth" before the question or type in "flat earth youtube" after the question. Most globers are making uninformed assertions.

It's their not they're. Same as your team for 500 years, how do you think the world believes it all now. The truth must be repeated and repetition is how we learn. We never learned scripture by reading it all one time and every school teacher repeats facts.

We've known that the earth is round for more than 2000 years. The evidence is so clear that the only way to argue for a flat earth is to repeat lies -- like pretending that the flights QF27 and QF63 don't exist.

If you're Christian or thinking about it, please see the scriptures and interpretations in the Biblical thread mixed in with science because we all get off track there.
