Aww, thank you so much, everyone So nice to read this, thank you so much

if you didn't want to go, why did you?

Because I really felt God telling me to go. Am not sociable either - at all - and felt physically sick with nerves before going, but it really felt like He was telling me to go. I thought it may be because He wants me to come out of my shell a little but, actually, I don't think it was about me, at all. There was all the typical small talk (how do people do that? Small talk is baffling) and I felt totally out of place so I just sort of kept to myself a little - and, actually, there really did seem to be some discomfort when I told them what I do - but about half an later, a woman called Lauren - we were never close at school, but we were on the same sports teams, so we knew each other well - came up to me and told me she's really been struggling with her faith recently!!

I sound all calm in the telling, but am utterly amazed. So we just spent 3 hours talking about Jesus, and what's causing her to stumble so much! We didn't really reach any conclusions, that is to say, it's not like she's all sorted out and happy/secure/strong in faith again, but she seemed so much more at ease at the end of the evening. I think, more than anything, it showed her that God hasn't abandoned her, cos she didn't wanna go, either.

So He told me to go because He knew Lauren would be there. He's just amazing, isn't He. I know that's said so much it's almost trite, but He really is. Amazing. Thank you so much for the prayers and good thoughts

Thank you, sis At the end, I asked her if she wanted to take my number but she said no. Does that mean I did something wrong? She truly seemed more peaceful, and I prayed for her, and she gave me a hug good bye, but I was worried about the number thing... but it's silly to, right? God showed Himself tonight, so He's got all of this in hand, yes?

Hi everybody I'm back. I know it's been along while since I have been here and lot has nappened. But the short version is I lost my job and had to move back in with parents so I'm no longer stuck using computers at the public library that blocks forum sites.
