I talk to other people and give all sorts of advice and fear that I myself am not saved. I am afraid of committing Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, apostasy (I came to Christ at a young age and had amazing supernatural experiences, then around sixteen became depressed, had doubts, and wondered if I had hallucinated everything since I have unconfirmed but a high likelyhood of schizophrenia.), or by cursing Jesus.
I would encourage you to seek treatment/counseling if it be that you have mental illness.
That one verse about no one can say Jesus is Lord but by the HS.... and my brain went overboard with that so I'll constantly have cursing thoughts and sometimes I have said it out loud not meaning to say anything.
DeerGlow, that verse is about authenticating true spirits from false ones...those whom the Holy Spirit of God enabled to prophesy or give a word of knowledge cannot call Jesus accursed, deny that Jesus be the Messiah, preach a different gospel etc. ref: Galatians 1:6-9, John 11:53.
I fear that marks me unsaved.
An unsaved person, their lifestyle is one that shows that they don't believe, they live to please they flesh...they continue in they rejection/disbelief that Jesus being Lord.
I am afraid of being one of the foolish virgins who ran out of oil, the seeds that were choked by thorns, or tares to be rooted from the wheat and burned.
Edit: Also the many will go astray after doctrines of devils and the itching ears thing.
Edit 2: Also I fear the mark of the beast. Thoughts of I accept ____ and I worship ____ pop into my head.
The thing is, many of us have thoughts that "pop into our heads" (I know I do) those thoughts are just that, thoughts...our mind is not regenerated yet...that's why we are to renew our minds on the Word of God, take contrary thoughts captive, put on the full armor of God every day-Ephesians 6:11-17.
We in spiritual battles...the scriptures say: Ephesians 6:12, 1 Peter 2:11-12,
James 4:1.
Abide in the Lord and in His Word(Bible)...this helps to keep you on the narrow path.
If you stumble, repent and get back to walking with the Lord and upholding His Word.
It would also be of help to those who struggle to be connected with a minister, prayer partners, mature mentors , be in a bible study group that's in your own church/or area.
