I talk to other people and give all sorts of advice and fear that I myself am not saved. I am afraid of committing Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, apostasy (I came to Christ at a young age and had amazing supernatural experiences, then around sixteen became depressed, had doubts, and wondered if I had hallucinated everything since I have unconfirmed but a high likelyhood of schizophrenia.), or by cursing Jesus.
I would encourage you to seek treatment/counseling if it be that you have mental illness.

That one verse about no one can say Jesus is Lord but by the HS.... and my brain went overboard with that so I'll constantly have cursing thoughts and sometimes I have said it out loud not meaning to say anything.
DeerGlow, that verse is about authenticating true spirits from false ones...those whom the Holy Spirit of God enabled to prophesy or give a word of knowledge cannot call Jesus accursed, deny that Jesus be the Messiah, preach a different gospel etc. ref: Galatians 1:6-9, John 11:53.


I fear that marks me unsaved.
An unsaved person, their lifestyle is one that shows that they don't believe, they live to please they flesh...they continue in they rejection/disbelief that Jesus being Lord.

:( I am afraid of being one of the foolish virgins who ran out of oil, the seeds that were choked by thorns, or tares to be rooted from the wheat and burned.

Edit: Also the many will go astray after doctrines of devils and the itching ears thing. :(

Edit 2: Also I fear the mark of the beast. Thoughts of I accept ____ and I worship ____ pop into my head.

The thing is, many of us have thoughts that "pop into our heads" (I know I do) those thoughts are just that, thoughts...our mind is not regenerated yet...that's why we are to renew our minds on the Word of God, take contrary thoughts captive, put on the full armor of God every day-Ephesians 6:11-17.
We in spiritual battles...the scriptures say: Ephesians 6:12, 1 Peter 2:11-12,
James 4:1.

Abide in the Lord and in His Word(Bible)...this helps to keep you on the narrow path.
If you stumble, repent and get back to walking with the Lord and upholding His Word.
It would also be of help to those who struggle to be connected with a minister, prayer partners, mature mentors , be in a bible study group that's in your own church/or area.

I used to have severe OCD symptoms. For a good amount of time I had blasphemous thoughts and whatnot flinging through my head. I was tormented and thought I was so totally was going to Hell. I must've cried every day for two weeks.
Anyway, it was through that hardship I came to understanding the Gospel. Remember that Jesus died so that whoever would believe on him wouldn't perish, but have everlasting life. So I guess I'll pray for you.

Thanks. :( I think I'm going on seven or eight months of these struggles. Overall better than at first but getting worse again.

DeerGlow salvation is not based on how we FEEL! John 3:16-17 Rom 10:9-10 are very clear period. Its not based on how evil or good you are. NO SIN will ever enter heaven and John by the sweet sweet Holy Spirit told us we all have sin if we say we dont we deceive our selfs and the truth is not in is.

So if you SIN you do what HE told you. You like everyone else.. you confess if.. repent and He is faithful to forgive and to cleans you from ALL unrighteousness. Again it is NOT based on how you feel. And WHO would tell you after you said "JESUS I repent.. come into my heart be my lord and savior.. I believe you are who you said you are".. who then would come along after you SIN and say.. YOUR NOT SAVED! NO christian would do that"? Satan..

As for "Blasphemy"... you had to GUESS WONDER. One that "Blasphemy" the holy Spirit does not care. God KNOWS your heart.. which SHINES SO BRIGHT!

Jesus is the way the truth and the life. You keep your eyes on HIM. HE NEVER uses fear...fear is NOT of God. Do you see? Those THOUGHTS FEELINGS...are NOT FROM HIM! That should be your 1st clue. If you think you feel away.. a just REPENT... yes. that easy. There is none righteous not one. All of us have fallen short so ..yeah..sorry you can stand behind me and then look.. that LINE is endless. Jesus came and died.. its OVER... you need to accept it. That HE took it all. There is no more sacrafice for sin. To many SIN and then think they have to offer up something for that sin ( so to speak. Like Jewish Christians use to do). There is NO MORE SACERFICE for sin. Christ can not die agian. That BLOOD of A GOD was for ALL SINS. We think like man. WE KNOW it cant be easy. We have to PAY for our sins. Sorry.. HE DID IT!

So you are RIGHTEOUS ..you are IN right standing with GOD your Father ABBA. In HIS eyes you have NEVER SINNED. He sees you through His son. This is WRITTEN!

As for the mark... please. We are still here. The lawless one will only be known when He the restrainer is taken out of the way. Then and only then will the lawless one be known. This can not happen as long as we are still here. Why? Greater is HE that is in YOU then he thats in the world. Jesus gave YOU all power over satan.. so REJOICE! Love you

I wonder what your understanding of "the unpardonable sin" is? This seems to be a great source of fear in your life.

"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind" 2 Timothy 1:7.

Fear is a natural thing and keeps us from a lot of hurt. My natural fear of snakes keeps me from playing around with them. But it is not paralyzing fear, for if I must protect myself or others I can deal with the snake.

Fearing God is also healthy and when we realize our our position with him without Christ we must conclude we are pending great wrath. Thank God for the "Buts," of the Bible!

"For the wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23.

It is not a list of do's and don'ts that bring us peace with God, but rather, it is a gift. In order to have the gift you must receive it. How do we do that? By believing his word. "Just as Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness" (Galatians 3).

AND...if you believe God's word, "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1). So if you are in Christ you have no reason to fear the wrath of God.

You are not alone in your doubt. But as the man with the demon possessed boy said when when Jesus challenged his belief, so we must say, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief!" (Mark 9). The boy went home free from his demons that day.

Do you believe what his words? If so, then rise, take up your mat, and walk in his grace!

When I was ten I responded to an altar call and believed. I know I genuinely got saved, because for the first time in my young life I became conscious of my sin, proof I had been born again

I think I was five or six when I was baptised. I have few memories before that.

But faith is not only for you to do things by yourself. We are family in Jesus. We need each other. It is great to learn how to love with other people. It is wise to not use condemnation as an excuse to get out of learning how to love and forgive any and all people.

Also > If I get too much into doing things by myself, I can get weak and lost and in trouble emotionally . . . isolating with my own self. My own self is my main problem!

"If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." (in Luke 9:23)

The cross of Jesus is of all-loving love, and forgiving.

I'm not trying to use condemnation as an excuse. I might have committed suicide by now if I was because what's the point in living longer for things to just get worse and worse? I'm not always 100% brave, I get scared and useless (for lack of a better word) but I'm still here trying.

One kind of music are you listening to because that just could be destracting you from making the right choices well you know what I mean take the right exit off ramp but dude that's it man sometimes we fill our minds with so much cares and worrys we stuggle to think straight bro. Am I close?

Maybe I'll change it. What about a blind person throwing darts? I might not even hit the board but I can't tell I could nail a bulls-eye or the dart could barely pass my feet. The point is that it's not easy, near impossible.

Hello, my fellow follower. Please understand that Blaspehmy of the Holy Spirit is not a possibility in this day and age. It was only possible in the time of the original disciples. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is denying that he exists and talking out against Jesus and his motives. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is just that: being against his motives and using all your power to fight against Him. It is not,possible in this day and age- it will not,be until the very end of it all. (Mid-tribulation).

Now I know for a fact that you did not commit this sin. How do I know this? Well, there is of course the Holy Spirit telling me you did not. However, here is His reasoning.

You have not spoken out against Him. You have intentions to make the thoughts stop. You need nothing more than a slight bit of additional effort and they will begin to fade. You have to train your mind. It takes a lot of time and practice, but if you set your,mind to it (and focus instead on prayer) with God all things are possible.

Now bear in mind you are acknowledging these thoughts and admitting you are not proud of them. That means they are jot your thoughta. Rather, they are thoughts Satan has layed upon you. You must fight them.

Please also remember not everything can be blamed on the devil. We have a choice. God gave us a choice to do what is just and right. We must make that choice and ask Him for help and guidance.

Sometimes we must choose between what is right and what is easy. It is diffucult to do the right thing, yes. However, nothing but good can come of it.

How do you know it's not possible now, only then and mid-tribulation? I don't think I've heard anyone say mid-tribulation before.

One could go on and on in this vein of thinking, or simply turn to one verse and nail the subject down for good.
There are a number of verses that could be that one verse for you (Jn 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; 6:47; etc.) but the verse I first think of is 1Jn 1:12. "He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Have you ever trusted and called on Jesus to save you from your sins, thereby receiving eternal life that cannot be lost, or not? Yes or no, period. Decide to trust what God says based upon all these verses I have given you, and so many more that you can read, and quit the debate of "Am I saved or Not" once and for all.

Yes, I have. Are you OSAS? Not judging just not sure I am anymore.

I had in the past, I strayed but I hope it's not the falling away to permenant reprobation but doubts that can be forgiven

I forget to go to the bible study at school. :( They also made me uncomfortable last time I did go, I came in late and it might be my anxiety but I felt very uncomfortable and out of place.

Either literally blasphemy of the HS or coming to faith and returning to the world or abandoning the faith.

There is no unpardonable sin. Jesus is great enough to have died for all of them, paid for all of them, and can forgive all of them. What is not pardonable is not taking advantage of this, not trusting in Jesus, or in the OT of what God said to do as a sign of faith in the coming one spoken of in Gen 3:15, the seed of the woman, which would turn out to be Jesus. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, spoken of as being unpardonable, had set conditions: Jesus was on earth in the flesh doing miracles, and the Pharisees were attributing these miracles to Satan. These conditions no longer exist, and so we can not commit that particular sin today. Everything we can do today is pardonable.

Silly me. I should have known that one. Yes, the Bible teaches OSAS!!!! Those that teach it doesn't are not rightly understanding some few verses that to some seem unclear. Some think Heb 6:4-6 speaks of those losing salvation. Wrong. Those people had tasted, were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, were enlightened, but they were never actually saved. They had experienced the "Pre-Salvation Work" of the Holy Spirit, but then for various reasons had rejected Christ. Much could be said on this, but I have answered your question. Feel free to ask any more, or any more detailed questions.
