I can hardly bring myself to do anything right now, all I can do is focus on my fears. I want to die but fear death more than I ever have. I just want peace with Christ. I fear that the LORD hates me. Like the passages with Esau, He might hate me and there's nothing I can do. (Like: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." And that Esau could not get his birthright even seeking it WITH TEARS)
I hear so many people bringing up the literal wording of the unpardonable sin passages and saying they hate people twisting blasphemy (which is modernly defined as defiant irreverence or slander) into persistent unbelief. That people do this to deny that some living people have done something to secure their condemnation while they're still alive. This, and Jesus's own words "By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Make me fear. So I'll ask, and please refrain from calling me dramatic this is no small business, is there hope? Is it forgivable only in ignorance? Impulsive thoughts? As long as you don't mean it? Once you stop living that way? Can anyone be forgiven as long as they have physical breath?
Is the sin WILLING or WILLFUL? Speaking certain words or deliberate disbelief?
I fear I will never have peace again. I miss the days where I could lay in the sunshine and appreciate God's love and His amazing creations but now I can mainly just fear.
Do not fear
Is there a particular time in your life that you seriously believe you committed the unpardonable sin?
I can hardly bring myself to do anything right now, all I can do is focus on my fears. I want to die but fear death more than I ever have. I just want peace with Christ. Fear NOT dear brother in Jesus.
The "unpardonable sin" you can NOT commit as long as you are alive!. I know, I know; this is going to get me flamed from here to eternity, but please follow along:
Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
NOTICE with sincere and fervent in-depth thought, consider what Jesus said in the first verse. He meant that EVERY sin man had EVER committed or ever would commit, WILL be pardoned on judgment day. IF Jesus gave no exceptions, it means that Jesus' death paid for EVERY sin that could ever be committed past, present or future.
But Jesus DID give ONE exception, and ONLY one. It is called as you see; "Blaspheming against the Holy Ghost". But notice in verse 28, that ALL other blasphemies WILL be forgiven. This is so important; since MOST do not see this; as I didn't for over 70 yrs!. But it is true that ALL blasphemies (there are a myriad of blasphemies that one can commit throughout life) EXCEPT for one blasphemy.
But WHAT is "blaspheming against the Holy Ghost"? That is the question. I assure you that if you were to ask a 1,000 preachers to explain that, you are liable to get many, many different answers. Even more if you ask 10,000 Christians; believe it or not. Try it!
I would NOT be surprised if there were not different interpretations in this very thread. Look and see.
So what is it? How does one find out? Where do you go? This is the questions. OK the answer is quite simple. Indeed it is.
Jesus said, John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Notice, He never said "scripture" or the "church" or a "bible" or a "priest", was the "way". He said HE was the way. He was the truth!
Then GO to HIM alone. ON your knees in sincere prayer and ask Him to explain it to you. I did NOT do that for over 70 yrs because I had been brainwashed that ALL that I needed was to "Read the bible". But I had read it for almost 3/4's of a century and like you, I worried (needlessly) about it.
Withing days of that prayer the answer became obvious that it could NOT be ANY sin that I had ever thought of or any sin that others had described. So it HAD to be a sin that is beyond "worldly" thinking.
I then realized that it was a sin that HAD to be the moment I die in the following scenario: Since Jesus accepted and "saved" a thief "on the cross" just moments before he would be dead, that means that salvation can come right up to the point of death. Even on a death bed with a person drawing their last breath. So what IS it that makes death so final when it comes to salvation?
It simply means that a person has said "NO" one time too often, the moment they die. Since they HAVE until their dying breath to say "Yes". So IF they have not said "Yes" by the time they draw their last breath, they then HAVE committed the "Unpardonable sin". IE: "Blaspheming against the Holy Ghost! BECAUSE the Holy Ghost HAS been calling them since birth. And that "voice" goes silent upon death!
IF they die and have not believed IN Jesus; that is, believed that HE is the ONLY true God who was manifest IN the flesh: 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was "manifest in the flesh", justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory; then they have committed the ONLY sin Jesus did not die for..
So relax dear brother. You are as saved as much as ANY one could ever be saved. HOWEVER your sins WILL be punished "7 fold" for EVERY sin you commit while IN the flesh. (As your good deeds are blessed 10 fold EVERY day).
Oh indeed they are: Leviticus 26:28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
And consider HOW much He blessed Moses, Daniel and countless others for their good deeds. Yet He punished them for their sins also. Check it out!
Note: Jesus' "sacrifice" does NOT mean we go unpunished for our sins. For his "sacrifice" meant He PAID for the sins and on judgment day we will receive a 100 percent "pardon". This fact is where MOST "religionists" fail in their thinking; because they have not asked for wisdom. For without wisdom, NO one will understand a word of scripture, believe it or not.
Finally:One can NOT lose their salvation. I know, I know MOST Christians adamantly believe you can. But you can NOT. For IF a person could lose their salvation, we ALL will go to hell. No "If's", NO "And's" and NO "But's". Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come "short" of the glory of God; 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
IF Jesus did not pay for ALL sins (when it comes to going to hell), with the exception of the "Unpardonable sin"; then we ALL go to hell for our daily sins. Oh indeed yes.
Believe it or not.
May Jesus richly bless you always dear brother IN Jesus.
P. S.: If the above doesn't get me tarred and feathered, the following WILL:
Hebrews 10:26 is either a bold faced lie; OR Jesus is! And Jesus was NO liar. This is why the likes of the Martin Luther's (Catholic Priest in Wittenberg Germany in 1517), Thomas Jefferson's and countless other " bible scholars" stated that the book of Hebrews was "garbage"
I agree 100%; because even though the book says some things that are correct, the verse above (and others) is pure nonsense. For IF it was true, NO one goes to Heaven. Get this, NO one has any credible evidence of who even wrote the book . We ALL sin "willfully" ALL the time. And the truth has been heard enough to fill 10 battleships!
If you do not believe it, take it to Jesus and ask Him, in sincere prayer to give you the truth.
Try it! You may be surprised. Promise!
Again, may He bless you dear sir.
