When you determine if a scientist is credible or not, do you do it the same way you determined whether Hovind was credible?

I've heard Hovind speak many times. He has said what is in sync with what i find that makes most sense re: creation, etc.

It only makes sense to you because you're a YEC, and your need for it to be true, trumps the reality of it not being true.

I agree it was an "evil" law.

I am researching taxes and the requirement thereof of paying them. The controversy perhaps lies in the "interpretation" of any such law, and whether it has a fer-real "leg" to stand on.

If it is oppressive and unjust and bludgeoning the masses, yes, perhaps it is an evil law and should be challenged.

The interpretation of the law was what Hovind's court case was all about. A jury of his peers convicted Hovind of breaking those laws as it is interpreted across the entire US. Everyone agrees that not paying your taxes is against the law. It isn't a tough idea to comprehend.

Maybe your confusion comes from lack of understanding of the topic they are talking about. Has that thought ever crossed your mind, or is that impossible?

There is a very strong correlation between, higher levels of education attained and a much greater understanding and acceptance of the theory of evolution.

Everyone is ignorant of many things and especially so, of topics that require a good bit of work, to understand. That is why the doctor you go to, had to go to school for so long, to understand how the body works and oh by the way, doctors know as well as anyone, how powerful the theory of evolution is, when understanding how to treat certain diseases.

Just for kicks, next time you go to the doctor, ask them if they agree with evolution.

When that person's references are checked, it turns out that those samples came from two different mammoths, not the same mammoth.

But, if that was the case and he realized it indeed came from two sources, the honest thing to do would have been to admit you were wrong that it only came from one source.

the information given is like snippets of information here and there.......i would like to hear/read more details on this mammoth(s) to get a clearer picture of how this originated and by whom, and not just a very brief synopsis of "theories" on this mammoth(s).

Scientists have been mistaken, erred many times before in the past. They gots lots o' 'splainin' to do, mon.

Perhaps it would help to find someone who can articulate their side.
