Nope...I asked for the conditions of the challenge and your inability to come up with one pretty much proved my point....You don't have any which means its a farce and not a challenge at all. Its like someone proposing a contest and someone asks okay what are the rules and they say...forget about that I will tell you at the end whether I won or you did.

the only intelligent response to that would be.......ROFL ;)
Re-read Aron-ra's challenge (as many times as you need to, we'll wait - we've learned to be patient with creationists), then bring to the table whatcha' got, kid.

then why did you ask this:

Simple.

Some seek views of the dating method that fit their faith belief and some seek views that explain the science behind it; how it works and why it is reliable.

If you like what Kent has to say about it, as you have stated, what the scientific sources have to say about the same, will not be as pleasant to digest.

What's your point? You think god is soprano or alto?

Are you familiar with the verse?

You said you had read the Bible. As a matter of fact you said "of course" when asked in an earlier post.

Therefore i asked you where it is written that God sings.

If you don't know it's no big deal....many Christians don't know about this verse either.

Thank you kindly.

i asked for "neutral" sources.

That's because it doesn't say god sings, someone else is saying that god will be singing, how the person who wrote it knows that god will be singing is anyone's guess.
Every word that Jesus was supposed to have said is pure guesswork so what does that say for people who are talking about god?

Quick question.

For you to consider the source on a subject to be credible, would you want them to understand the topic very well?

If you have a heart condition, I would assume you would entrust a cardiologist for treatment, because their knowledge of the cardiovascular system is at the expert level. They know how everything works, why it works the way it does and what sort of things can have positive and negative effects on them working properly.

So, with dating methods, would you not seek scientific descriptions of the same, that explain in detail how it works and why it is reliable?

I haven't committed the bible to memory. If you think that choosing random verses somehow proves a point, then I have sorely overestimated your intelligence.

Not all cardiologists are the same. Research still needs to be done on how gifted or skillful any cardiologist is.

Are you saying there are no "neutral" scientists that can give the pros and cons of carbon dating?

Thank you kindly.

Neither have i. I have not read the Bible totally cover to cover. I assumed you had from your post.

Thank you kindly.

What's a "neutral" scientist?

A scientist hopefully without biases and that does not take anyone's word for anything, but researches, and experiments their self, and when they reach a conclusion, they just say what it is.

There are no scientists that fit this description?

Thank you kindly.

You seem to have a tendency to put words in my mouth, which doesn't help the flow of the discussion.

A scientist would not be a scientist, if they did not discuss the margin of error etc., with carbon dating and also discussing, the science behind how it works and why it has been demonstrated to be reliable.

I can only speak for myself, but when I want to gain knowledge on a particular topic, I tend to seek out those who have demonstrated the most knowledge of the topic and have the most training in that same topic.

And you are correct, not all cardiologists are at the same skill level and same applies to any profession, including theologians.

How would you go about determining the skill level of a cardiologist and how gifted they are?

Can't reread what I have never read kid. Thats the ummm the whole meaning of reread. Given you have been referring to it for a bout two pages but haven't laid out the terms yet I can bet its a real howler and you are as usual sucking air.

Boring summer break???

Scientists rely on objective evidence and data, not someone's subjective opinion of the same. If you read up more on carbon dating, this will become quite clear to you.

i'm merely asking questions.

Getting feedback from patients, ratings, and history of a Cardiologist, and the outcomes of the operations and procedures they have performed is perhaps a good start in assessing their skill, etc.

Thank you kindly.
