Evolution vs Christianity WHY?

Easily explained. You misunderstand the OT law. It was ment to be a proactive thing like christ explained, DO unto others as YOU WOULD have them DO unto you. It was supposed to be a I'll give you a new car because I would want you to give me one thing.

*sigh* AGAIN evolution is a theory, one of the more popular ones, but still just a theory that doesn't explain ALL of the evidience.

Ahh, I see you've misread. Genesis 2:7 is just a more detailed account. According to verse 8 the garden was already in exsistance, thus it could not have been the 3rd day

No, its acutally christian, but I agree, christianity isn't against evoultion, its impartial.

I have found that the reason that doesn't mix with christianity is that( and I am speaking from a pentacostal teaching here) we are taught to take the words of the bible to be 'literal'. Therefore when you look back at the OT you must take it literally also. If you allow evolution(from a christian perspective) to enter your belief then you are rocking the foundations of the religion. Sure it(the NT) has different teachings as to the eye for an eye thing but Jesus was sent to the earth to correct that teaching not the teaching of the creation of which He also believed.

That is what I was taught about the subject.

I am of the belief that jc could come back right now, tell you all creation was literal, and evolution is totally on track, and you still would not believe.

Yes, it was 6 literal days. All evolution occured within that time period.

We spend a lot of time trying to unteach people so that they can be taught by God and not man. The Holy Spirit of God is to be our teacher, not man.

The Bible is an example of how God has worked in the lives of men and it shows you how God wants to do a work in your life.

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;

John 20:22b "Receive the Holy Spirit."

Ephes. 5:18  be filled with the Spirit,

Acts 1:8 "you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you"

Acts 2:38 "you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit"

Acts 8:15 "they... prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit"

Acts 9:17 "be filled with the Holy Spirit."

Acts 2:17  "I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh"

Proverbs 1:23  Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;

The old testament is the roots to the tree of life and the new testament are the branches. In this case, wild branches have been grafted into a cultivated tree. But just like branches need roots and roots need the leaves on the branches. The old and the new testament can not function without each other.

The answer is yes!

The people who are going to heaven are the people who believe, in their hearts, Jesus is their Lord and Savior.  They also have to ask God to forgive their sins.  This is all you need to get into heaven. You don't need anymore then this! (Isn't that so easy!)
