The most learned people had very odd medical theories not so long ago too.

Its not reasonable to lump everyone named here together as if they were the trailer park cult of ignorance creationists of today.

As long as you are going to bring up those people, lest look at the dates involved. What do you suppose is the significance of the fact that no significant scientist has been a "creationist" for what, 150 years now?

And most of these people probably thought Newtonian model of gravity was true as well.

And notice the distinct lack of anybody recently? You can take any scientist from before 1859 off the list, as that's when On The Origin Of Species was published. So yes, before we had a good explanation for the origins of life, and before it wasn't complete heresy to speak against church doctrine, yes, scientists who were creationists established common fields of study.

Only a slight fraction of a single percent of scientists today still hold any kind of creationist or ID view.

And of those, 100% hold to creationist views for religious reasons, none has a single data point to his name to confirm creationism or to falsify evolution.

There is no significance. This list is limited to the dead ones.

Of course it is significant. It has been that long since any serious thinker abandoned 'creationism" along with heliocentrism, flat earth, blood letting, and various other odd superstitions of the past.

Of course it is limited to the dead ones. There are no live equivalents.

Now lets see you try to identify ONE live scientist who was ONE data point against evolution of for creationism.

So you're saying that not a single famous scientist who believed in creationism has died in the past 65 years? Well that's almost a generation! I'd like to see all these famous live creationist scientists!

And even more, we would like to see their data.

Correct, I have not a single piece of evidence in support of creationism or against evolution.

You're learning!
I'm learning?

LOL

I've only been saying that for 5 years.

Picking scientists who lived before Darwin's theory was established is misleading. Those scientists never had an opportunity to know the truth. And most of them were religious, so by default Creationism was assumed back then due to no alternatives.

These men did not discover what they did because they were Creationists.

You mean like [the late] Henry M. Morris?
Well that's almost a generation! I'd like to see all these famous live creationist scientists!
Would that really matter?

You guys would just pull out that Steve's list argument -- or whatever it is.

Because that guy belongs in the same list as Newton and Pasteur.

Morris grew up in Texas in the 1920s and 1930s. He graduated from Rice University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1939.[2] He married Mary Louise on January 24, 1940, and they later had six children. After his graduation in 1939, and through 1942, he was a hydraulic engineer working with the International Boundary and Water Commission. He returned to Rice, teaching civil engineering from 1942 until 1946. In 1946 he wrote a short book entitled That You Might Believe (1946), in which he made an effort to attack evolution. From 1946 through 1951, he studied at the University of Minnesota, where he was awarded a master's degree in hydraulics (1948) and a Ph.D. in hydraulic engineering (1950).

Right. Morris is the guy that gave that great and well established scientific theory that the craters on the moon were caused during a war between Satan and the armies of the archangel Michael. A fine example of a creation science for sure.
