You do not understand, if the mountain rose, the sea shells would have broke, or fel apart even if they were fossils, which there 100% intact, theres another way it would have became a fossil, because if the water covered way higher then mount everest, so there would be alot of preasure from the water, sense the flood covered the whole world, so thats how they became fossils.
No, we do understand and you have a very child-like concept of geology. When an upthrust occurs, it's not as if it churns and roils as the formation rises. The entire body of the formation gets uplifted.
