"The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue.
Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft.
Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room.
According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son.
Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening."

No, it was a flash forward. Cuseloff have confirmed it (earlier I posted a link to an interview Cuse did with Ausiello of TVGuide.com, he confirmed it there too). Jack was trying to get back to the island, taking flights every week in hopes of another crash.

Charlie should have had time to leave the room and grab at least a scuba tank and dive through the sub entrance. That place wasn't going to flood that quickly. He closed himself in a small place for no reason.

Not for no reason. I think he believed he had to die in order for Desmond's flash to come true (that Claire and Aaron would be rescued by helicopters).

A coworker mentioned that he thought the change in pressure would cause the main room to fill too quickly. I'm trying to verify this.

I noticed that in this episode, Kate actually did splash Sawyer. That was the first thing I thought of when she did it.

My hubby and I were debating that - if it were a Krzr, or Razr. Hubby thought it was the Krzr, but I wasn't really sure.. We thought it was odd that they put that in a flashback, but didn't put it all together until the end.

Yup, but then they are running it straight through until May with no repeats and no off-weeks. I much prefer that to the six-episode pod they did this past fall, and then weeks to wait before the season starts up for real.
