Some more thoughts...
if "THEY" let Aaron come home because he was a BABY..does that mean Sun is one of the Oceanic 6 since she is pregnant and would die if she stayed on the Island..would they let her baby come home too?

So maybe Aaron is #5 and Sun is #6...and if thats the case then BEN is in the casket!

Does Jack find out Claire is is sister? If so, does it have anything to do with him NOT wanting to see the baby?

On Charlie's hand in Hurley's vision was "They Need You" wondering now if THEY (the rest of 815ers) are all alive on the Island and not dead, just imprisoned or trapped, including Claire???

Whats with Miles and the 3.2 million..and what did he mean he would take care of Charlotte? (kill her? give her part of the money to shut her up?)

So in court Jack said 8 survived the flight and only 6 made it back..who are the two that died?? (Claire probably is one) WHat is the deal with this sordid story of only 6 and 8 ???

hmmm i wonder if Kate is claiming that she had Aaron on or off the island? or if she hid him (i don't know how) and claimed she had him later.

I don't think anyone thinks Aaron is Kate's baby. The lawyer just referred to him as "he". And Kate just always said things like "I have a baby now." (Not, "I have a son now.")

Plus the timeline doesn't work. They were on the Island for approx 2 months. When Kate was getting extradited from Australia, it was obvious that she wasn't pregnant. Or if she was, she was at most 2 months along. So she couldn't possibly have had a baby on the Island and everyone who can add would have figured that out.

When I thought it was Kate's baby, I figured "oh, that's why Kate left the Island." So, now I can't figure out why she left, knowing that she had a possible life sentence waiting for her back home... But then, Kate is not very strong in logical thinking.

I figure that part of their story was that Claire survived the crash, had the baby and then died of some Island disease or something. Or maybe died in child birth.

They must be telling this lie about only 8 surviving because someone has a proverbial gun to their heads. I'm thinking it's Ben.

Jack's "8 Survivors" story further explains why Hurley pretended not to know who Ana Lucia was.

Maybe the cop/husband wanted to know if she was one of the surviving 8?

I think it means that he'll kill her and make it look like an "accident".

DH: You're just seeing "eggtown" on the screen with nothing else around it?
Me: It's the title of Wednesday's Lost.
DH: Well, there's some context.
Me: But it doesn't help you figure out where Eggtown is, does it?
DH: Uh, fertility????

Me: 'k, I'm dumb.

That's all a round-about way of saying, "subbing".

It still couldn't be Kate's baby, though...but that might explain why people could think it was her baby once they got off the island (if they do think that). By Island time, they were there for a couple months, by everywhere-else-time, they were there for 8 or 9?

But once they were off the Island, normal time would resume and Aaron looked, what, two? I don't know...it's hard to say how much time had passed since their rescue.

Another thought... I think Jack didn't want to see the baby because he feels guilty about whatever happened to Claire. I bet he promised her that he'd take Aaron safely off the island and come back for her and then he wasn't able to do that. I think that's why Jack is so consumed with needing to get back to the Island (in forward-forward time, when he has a beard). He probably promised a lot of people that...

I'm guessing the only way she has that house (and nanny for Aaron) is that she received her settlement from oceanic (the one Sayid alluded to last week). It takes time to get money from a settlement and to purchase a house.

Thought about Aaron: Juliette said that all of the pregnant women die. Does that include the ones who actually give birth? Maybe Clare dies yet before leaving the island. Also, Aaron wouldn't have been on the passenger list, so any investigator would know that someone gave birth on the island and Kate wasn't pregnant when she boarded the flight.

Yeah, I think it must be at least a year since rescue.

No, Juliet said that all pregnant women die in their third trimester (I think?) and that the problem/disease happens at conception. Since Aaron wasn't conceived on the Island, Claire wasn't in danger.

That's why it was a double edged sword when Sun found out that her baby is Jin's...because that means it was conceived on the Island and she's in trouble.

The assumption here is that they get off the island soon (on Niomi's boat). I don't think that is really going to be true.

Well, my theory is that these flash-forwards are what would happen if they get off the Island on Naomi's boat. It's only a possible future, not necessarily predetermined.

But they're not going to get off the Island on Naomi's boat so none of it will happen.
