Wow. Well catching up on those last two episodes right in a row was intense! My thoughts:
- You know, I've been a Kate/Sawyer shipper since almost the beginning. But at this point I just want to slap Kate and tell her to get over herself and make up her freaking mind. Sawyer is no saint but frankly, I'm beginning to feel that he is too good for her. He'd only act this way for her, mind you, because he's deeply in love with her. So much so that it seems to me he doesn't mind being a bit used and abused just for the chance to get a little closer to her. It makes me sad...
- I think Claire was either deeply injured and or stuck on the island and somehow passed Aaron off to Kate for safe escape back into "reality"
- And if this kid is indeed the baby Aaron we know then why won't Jack visit him?
- Aaaaand of course we must remember the psychic telling Claire that ' anyone else raising your child is very bad' (paraphrased)
- The experiments and little clues by Daniel were fascinating. The time difference? Huge insight into explaining the world of LOST, I think. Reality on a different timeline than the rest of us is a common theme in sci-fi
- Even more interesting to me was the card experiment Charlotte was doing with Daniel (did you notice the Dharma logo on the backs of the cards?). So what does this mean? Is Daniel slightly psychic? Or does he have a memory problem of some kind (I'm leaning towards this).

Hmm... I'm afraid they dropped this... Because all I've seen is the 3rd season and there was no mention of the raft or any boy being abducted.

Michael (Walt's father. Walt is the boy taken off the raft) went in search of Walt. He was captured by the Others and was told to allow Ben to escape (he was being held by the Losties) and bring Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley to them. If he did that Walt would be returned to him.
Michael subsequently shot Ana Lucia (killing), Libby (killing), and himself (in shoulder) to allow Ben to escape. He the brought the four listed above to an ambush. All were captured.
Ben then kept the agreement to Michael. He returned Walt to him, gave them a boat and a heading to leave the island (season 2 season finale).
In the season 3 finale John Locke was lying in a mass grave about to kill himself when Walt appeared to him telling him he had work to do. This is taller ghost Walt that has been mentioned in this season.
