look up "Endogenous Retroviruses" (HERV-K(HML-5) proviruses), they are retroviruses derived from ancient infections of germ cells in humans, mammals and other vertebrates; as such their proviruses are passed on to the next generation and now remain in the genome.

all humans share ERVs with chimps. this tells us that our common ancestor aquired this revtrovirus before the animals split up (about 55 million years ago) and went their seperate ways.

Ah, of course: that 'spiritual' component of the universe that has yet to be even remotely evidenced. It's also the greatest ad hoc explanation by theists yet: found a contradiction in a text? Clearly one was spiritual, and the other was literal (e.g., Adam & Eve died a spiritual death when they ate the fruit, not the bog standard death forewarned in Genesis).

I don't suppose the work of this 'Great Physician' can be demonstrated? Heavens forbid you try to attach facts to your claims!

Like I've said many times, I'm here because of the Great Commission.

I'll be more than happy to answer any questions put to me, and am not in the least bit afraid to admit I don't know something. The problem comes when I get questions like, "Where did the Flood waters go?" Or, "Show me evidence for..." In that case, I have to "fill in the gaps" so to speak, and I feel I'm quite capable of doing that. I don't think we're left totally in the dark about some things that aren't directly recorded in the Scriptures. Like, "How were all those animals fed?" I believe the Scriptures intimate how all those animals were fed.

I think it's one of Satan's tricks to have people ask questions that aren't in the Bible, then accuse them of "making stuff up" when they answer. That sounds just like something he would do.

In short --- I don't mind being forefront on the firing line, firing answers back to questions being fired at us. If it makes me look like a clown, then let the circus begin.

He doesn't need to talk to Jesus, he just has to talk to his handy-dandy KJV. I mean, if Jesus disagrees with the KJV, Jesus is wrong. Aye?
