The first item that must be addressed is Tsiyon Program #318 entitled “Witch War Woes.” In this program, Steve/E openly accuses a certain Messianic Believer (known on this thread as “SAM Wis”

of being a “witch” and a Satanist, although declining to identify her by name. Without coming right out and saying it in a plain and clear statement, he weaves a web of insinuation and inference that ultimately leads his listeners to believe that she marked his home for fire, and that she was responsible for cutting the brake lines of his vehicle, not to mention casting spells and dancing “strange dances.” No factual evidence is given for any of these accusations – only supposition and inference. As if it were not sad enough that these unfounded accusations were broadcast literally worldwide on public radio, shortwave radio and via the Internet, other statements in the program contain open and blatant lies.
I know these statements to be false because I was on the property the day this so called “witch” arrived, and my wife and I met her in person. We were all aware of her visit, as Steve/E had openly welcomed it and looked forward to interviewing her for the program. The purpose of the meeting was for the two parties to evaluate each other, with the goal of determining if the two ministries could work together in ministering to the Remnant.
In program #318, Steve/E bases his accusation of witchcraft on the supposition that this person came to “mark” the property (particularly his home) for the enemy to destroy. From my vantage point that day and after seeing what took place during and after the fire, I find no basis for this. I also find no basis for it when Steve/E actually lied about events that took place after and as a result of the fire. (I would like to think that his memory is faulty on these matters, but his memory has always been exceptionally good, so I cannot give that idea much credence.)
The “faulty statements” are as follows:
1. Steve/E stated that he found out 4 days after the fire that his home had not been burned yet, and the Tsiyon property was not shown on the burn map. My wife and I were in the evacuation center for two ½ days following our evacuation from the fire. We were updated continuously during the time at the center as to what areas were burned and what homes/structures were destroyed. On the second day there (not the 4th day), the Tsiyon property was included on the burn map (the map of properties burned and homes destroyed). In addition, we were told by 3 different firemen on that day that the property was destroyed and the homes lost. Two of the firemen told my wife that their own homes were in the same neighborhood and they knew exactly the area we were referring to. We also had visual verification that the area of Tsiyon property burned for 3 days solid. We could see the area burning from the evacuation center. Steve/E, Dawn and his family chose not to stay or register at the evacuation center. His family stayed the first night at a friend’s house and left the next day for College Station, Texas where he and his family stayed in a motel. During that time, we kept Steve/E informed as to the information we were receiving at the center.
2. Steve/E stated that the brake line on his vehicle was cut “immediately” on the day of the fire (Sunday, Sept 4th). This statement is problematic, because I know that he drove around our city that afternoon and evening and then left the next day to drive to College Station, (an 80 mile trip), where they stayed in a motel. The following morning (Tuesday, Sept 6th), Steve/E called me and I could tell he was quite disturbed. He told me he had taken his vehicle to a mechanic (that morning) because it was having some engine trouble. He then said, “And you are not going to believe what they found. My brake line has been cut!” I could tell he was shocked and disturbed. He told me that morning that he believed this was an act of the enemy and that someone in College Station must have recognized his vehicle and cut his line. There was NO mention of his belief that this was done on the property or prior to his arrival in College Station. In addition, there was NO mention of this being done by a “witch,” and if we are to believe his statement that she cut it, then he drove for two days and over 100 miles on a cut brake line. I guess he forgot about this phone call to me and a similar call to SAM Wis.
The other “evidence” given for Steve/E’s stated belief that this lady was a “witch” was her ministry’s website logo. Steve/E claims that the symbols used on this website are of a satanic nature. I am unable to post the link to Set Apart Ministries but you can easily find it with a Google Search. Feel free to go to this website and see if you can construe, from what you see there, the type of allegations and interpretations that he made on the program. Please review the material on this website for yourself and see if there is even one indication that this site has any resemblance to a ministry led by a satanist or a “witch.” The symbols used for the logo were simplistic symbols of the name “Set Apart Ministry” with absolutely no satanic connection. Please note that Steve/E does not give the exact website name or link in his program. He keeps you guessing as to what site and what person he is referring, and wants you to trust his word. He doesn’t give you all the information needed to make an informed decision. He gives you his interpretation of “facts” that he does not allow you to look at for yourself – his listeners are supposed to simply accept his word regarding it. This is in conflict with the scriptural instruction to be discerning and to search out truth. (Heb 5:14, Malachi 3:18 among others)
Anyone who is going to make a claim that a person or a ministry is satanic should carefully examine all aspects of what has been done by the person or the ministry in question. They should also be able to state without reservation that they have personally observed behavior or material that conflicts with scripture and conforms to satanic norms. Steve does not do this. He says that the visitor “went outside” where she “might have” or “could have” done things (which are only inferred and not spelled out). Every accusation is based on a “might have” or “could have” or “maybe.” There is no substantiation whatsoever. Yet he does not hesitate to publicly air these baseless accusations! This alone should alert us that the purpose of the program was not to disclose evil, but rather to encourage his listeners to further form the “us (good guys) against them (bad guys)” frame of reference that the last few programs have been fostering. This is cultic thinking, not genuine teaching.
Steve/E has tried to build an evil structure from innocent materials. At the very least he has given a very wrong interpretation and accusation, falsely accusing one of YHWH’s servants. Since the enemy is called “the Accuser” for good reason, it is pretty simple to understand the true source of the accusations. It is also interesting to note that this program occurred 5 months after the fire. In addition, the program was created only after the lady in question posted (on this forum) further information about Steve’s identity. Could it be that this program was a program of retaliation? I believe it was, but you can make up your own mind.
