Eighties Hair

Okay - so you know the Eighties Hair-dos. I had me some really big hair! LOL Now my hair isn't teased and puffy anymore but when I look back at pictures of me in high school, my style is rather similiar. I can't seem to stop feathering my hair!

How long have you had your same currently hairstyle? Do you have the same style you did when you were in high school?

Lol,I remember the eighties hair. I certainly had a case of the big hair do.The hair spray i used to go thru.

My hair is totally different now & I try different styles every now & then. No cutting off my hair totally or very drastic.

Did anyone ever use the hand dryers in the bathrooms as blow dryers? I remember after gym class we'd plaster our hair with hairspray, then turn on the dryers and spin them around to "set" our hair. We thought we were really "rad".

I remember the days of spending hours in front of the mirror trying to get the sides of my hair to stick out. I think if I had ever caught a big enough wind I could have flown with those things. Nowadays, I either pin it up or throw it in a ponytail. I think I wasted all of my "hair energy" back in the eighties.

I had HUGE hair! Thank you AquaNet in the white can (pink label). Hey, back then you coudln't go to a respectable metal club without it. Oh, and forget sneaking into Limelight.

I shave my head now. I just grew it out for the winter, but it's still short

I had the fluffy bangs, but I was too lazy to tease and fluff the rest of it. So I kept the sides and back in a bob most of the time. It was always fun to put a great huge hair bow in it somewhere.

I had an afro! I have naturally curly hair and I used to let it grow out really big! Now it's longer, and I use mousse to control it. No more afro. Do you know I still find mullet haircuts attractive? Anyone else actually like the mullet?

hmmm. I don't care for the mullet nowadays, but they were cool back then. Remember the tiny little mullet braids that guys used to grow? My friends and I always wanted to pack a pair of scissors and sneak up on guys and snip em off. We were so mean.

Ahhh, I remember the 80s. I know you guys haven't forgotten about leg warmers.
No one could have poofed hair with without the leg warmers.
I do miss the 80s but not the leg warmers.

LEG WARMERS!!!!! Those are coming back you know!! I loved those things! And BIG puffy stand straight up bangs too! I should have owned stock in Aqua Net back then..I destroyed my share of Ozone I'm sure.
I went to the Farrah Facet doo in the late eighties though..feathered feathered feathered! LOL
My hair is nothing like that now, it's MUCH more 70's stlye..straight long, kind of flippy on the ends. The youth at my church had an "old Fashioned day" thing and they all came dressed up 80's! Here I am thinking Little House on the Prairie and they are thinking 80's!!! Little creeps LOL makin me feel all old! What's up with THAT!

When I was in high school...I wore my hair in a bob with tall bangs, 3 lines shaved into the left side and crimped all over with a crimping iron.

My hair is long to my waist now..I either wear it straight or a lil' curly. I also like to tie it up really funky like with parts hanging all around.

In 2001 I cut off 17" for Locks of Love. I cut it like totally bedhead all over one time after that. In the fall of 2002 I started growing it out again. It's longer now than it's ever been. I don't know if I'll ever cut it again.

I definitely had the 80's big hair thing going on. I still have a school picture of myself in 10th grade, jeans jacket, big hair and all. What was I thinking? LOL

I used to have the big hair I wold go through so much hair spray it was not funny Now I have short hair and I change my styles all of the time I get bored of having just one hair style for too long
