  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Don't believe every batguano email forward you read. KFC did not ban alcohol hand wipes in their halal restaraunts, an individual store in the UK did and they have since been corrected by headquarters.

Today I learned:

KFC has halia restaurants.

Sure. They want to make money, they're smart enough to give the customer what they want. This, of course, is an example of hardcore Sharia Law and persecution of Christians in Godless socialist Europe.

And what I have learned is that there are some that want to go to great lengths to deny a simple action.

KFC customer is refused hand wipe in halal-only branch because they contain alcohol - Mirror Online

It happened. The man requesting such a wipe was a bit shocked as well.

I said that it happened. I also explained that it was in error and that KFC since clarified their position and that alcohol wipes are not verboten in heir halal restaurants. You seem rather intent on magnifying this molehill.

Nah--ground zero was western Africa. we just have not stopped air traffic from the area nor have we quarantined people from the area. And now it's spreading because quarantine protocols that the CDC wanted were quietly dumped in 2010 while people who have been exposed to ebola will say that they haven't been just so that they can get away from the ebola stricken area.

Honestly, Charlie do you really believe that just washing your hands will protect you? Seems like the same advice the CDC gave when there was a MRSA scare a few years back. The "washing of hands" worked so well. My cousin died in that outbreak.

Ebola is AEROSAL, as in droplet, not strictly AIRBORNE. So, the fall and winter months make for great transmission periods in respective small high-traffic areas. This is how trial animals contracted Ebola remotely, and how one of the doctors got Ebola remotely while working with non-infected patients in Africa.

Washing hands prevents most infectious diseases spread. However, depending on the culture, handwashing may not be enough. Ebola is treatable; it behaves like extreme scurvy.

Think there are. Lemon cuts grease and I remember some fine restaurants would serve patrons warm water with lemon finger bowls.

No, there can't be, otherwise why the outrage over "halal" KFC?

That would be ridiculous. No, much more likely that non-alcoholic handwipes aren't a thing, and all those evil Pakistani Taliban Muslims are deliberately giving us all ebola. Won't someone please think of the children??

Really? Lemons are banned by Muslims too?

BTW I've not said that Muslims are deliberately giving us all ebola. I've just reported the nuttiness of "just washing your hands" as a defense against this deadly disease. Hmmm--wonder if the four new ebola patients (that's including the first one confirmed in Dallas) knew that all they had to do was "wash their hands". Maybe the 100 people (including the 5 school children) that were compromised by the first ebola patient found in Dallas should have been told that they would have been "free and clear" if only they would have remembered to "wash their hands". Somehow I doubt that because they are now under house arrest.

BTW there HAVE been reports that Muslim terrorists will end up using the disease to terrorize others. (Guess it's suicide whether they blow themselves up or whether they infect someone with a deadly disease.)

And everyone in the military too busy with their legalised bestiality to do anything about it. Tragic.

What military? Obama gutted it. Nevermind our dozen or so super carrier battle groups while no other country has even one. Never mind our unique ability to project power through forward bases all over the globe. Gutted.

What, you didn't get the email forward about how Obama reduced the military to it's smallest since the second World War?

He doesn't need an email forward to know that the military has been cut to the lowest levels since WWII. It was all over the news last year. Memory can't be THAT short.

Did you get the one about how Obama's ring has secret Muslim writing on it?

How about the one about how they're going to have to divert traffic to allow the huge lump of coal they're delivering to Mt. Rushmore for the new Obama carving?

What ARE you talking about? This thread is about Ebola.

Indeed.
