  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anyone listen to Ann Coulter anymore?

I bet Ann Coulter voted for John Kerry and laughed all the way to the bank.
You're out, you're back in. You're out, you're back in. Starting to remind me of Ross Perot

Odds are 10:1 that nobody's opinion of Ann Coulter will be swayed by anyone here... so let's agree to disagree about what each side thinks and just let it go.... mkay?
Moreover, the answer to the OP is obvious. Does anyone listen to Ann Coulter anymore? YES. From the number of responses, a better question would be : "Does anyone NOT listen to Ann Coulter?

She is like a Professional Wrestler in Politics....seems more for mere entertainment and she is easy on the eyes

Ugh. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think politics should have anything in common with professional wrestling.

Also, "easy on the eyes"? Ann Coulter? I will never understand men.

Dislike would be more like it. Even strongly dislike. I find that people hate far too much these days.

People hate so much that I think they forget how strong the word 'hate' is.

Where's that acceptance and tolerance those on the left wing of the political scale pride themselves in so much, eh?

Never mind me though. I'm in a bad mood anyway.

I don't hate her, nor would I say that I don't tolerate her. I would never suggest that she doesn't have the right to say what she says, nor that she shouldn't be allowed to publish, to be a guest on television programs, etc. She has that right. But empty, hateful rhetoric is harmful to the USA, and I see no problem whatsoever with shouting THAT truth from the rooftops. The level of political discourse in this country is not particularly high - it's all he-said-she-said he's a lib-rul she's a Nazi, and very little coverage of actual action plans, actual trends, actual issues that affect the daily lives of the average American. Ann Coulter did not cause this phenomenon, but she's a symptom of it, and she's propagating it, and I would love to see more newspapers and television media outlets drop her columns and guest appearances, as it their right as private businesses.

If she actually believes half of what she writes in her books, I couldn't ever hate her. Just pity her. Can you imagine going through life really believing that half the people in your country are guilty of treason? Ay.

True, I think Zell Miller is a Democrat.
Zell was great at the Republican convention wsn't he. The trouble with himis that he clearly holds Democrat ideologies which is based in Socialism. I like Zell, I just don't like his political ideology. In other words, I would never vote for him

I think he's a nut, but when you metioned Wrestlemania, given his Republican convention speech, he was the first person who popped in me mind. :)

Think about the comparison between the Democrats when they talk about issues convention and professional wrestling. You watch and say to yourself, "Is this real, or is it fake?"
