Heterosexual judges heterosexuals? My wife will kick me out if I judged her.Before we move on any further with this topic, we must first define homosexuality.

For the Scripture says:

I absolutely do not think gay people goto hell. The word homosexual in some modern Bibles is heresy because there was no word homosexual and these are mistranslations of the original text. I believe gay or straight, if you are under God's grace you are going to Heaven.

Homosexuality is NOT a sin. Homosexual (or lesbian) sex is the sin. Read you bible carefully.

I'd imagine the difference is in the actions you take, rather than the sexuality you have.
You can be homosexual, but that does not necessarily mean you're going to engage in sexual activities with a member of the same sex (which is what the Bible speaks about).
As for whether anyone with such a sexuality goes to hell, God will decide. I do not think being homosexual is something that would condemn someone to hell, and I do lean towards thinking that if we take sexuality as sinful then there are plenty who sin continually due to their thoughts and desires, even if they've never acted on them.
"For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1 Peter 4:17)
So, I find it "interesting" how some number of people are claiming the Bible and making a point of judging homosexuals first. Because this scripture, to me, shows that God judges His own children "first". And it appears to me, that there are people who claim to be Christians, but they are judging gays first!
I understand that we who are Christians need to be "examples" (1 Peter 5:3) of first judging our own selves, and this includes pointing out to others how we ourselves can be wrong, so people can not be fooled by us and so they can learn from how our Father is personally correcting us > Hebrews 12:4-11, James 5:16, 1 Peter 5:3.
If all we do is point out sexual sin of others, how will people know all the other things we need to have corrected? How will they know where they need to go, for correction, if we are not being "examples" of all the Bible says we need, for us Christians?
I myself have been very into self-righteously criticizing others. I could welcome the gay thing, as an excuse to look down on someone else. Yes, it is a temptation for me to self-righteously criticize homosexuals. And I have given in to the temptation. And Jesus had a major issue with hypocrisy . . . how ones could condemn others for sinning, but they did not first have compassion and hope for wrong people to turn to God and become His children. I have been like this.

In 1 Kings 8:36, it says,It's not a believe in God then assurance, it's those who die to themselves, obey and endure, those are promised salvation.
Why aren't you allowed to post in this thread??That's one of the reasons why I don't believe what the Bible says - too much hatred going on. God is not as petty as some of His followers would have us believe.

I'm not sure what to say.Not all christians despise homosexuals, hate them, want their activities banned, call them abominations, rail against them as sinners, etc. etc. Many of those who do have no peace with their own sins and are projecting it unto you.
Most people tend to focus on those who hate them rather than love them, so I understand your feelings, particularly since hate is the majority.
All I want you to know is God does not hate you if you're gay. He's got an open door to gays through Jesus Christ, if you ever need him.
As for heaven or hell, this thread is an invitation to flame, and to judge. I'd suggest you let them be, because you won't change these attitudes.
I'm sorry your entire community has been targeted by so-called christians. Just live your life, as true to yourself as you know how. And may you someday come to know God up close and personal.

This is simply a false dichotomy some set up. The punishment for speeding is $165 and for excess is over $1000. Ask me the punishment for speeding? If I tell you it's $165, I'm not judging you, you've already been judged and the punishment is $165.
The law is the judge, and the law says not only homosexuals will go to hell, fornicators, adulterers, liars, and anyone who doesn't put their faith and trust in God. But it's not just those, as the gate is narrow. It's not a believe in God then assurance, it's those who die to themselves, obey and endure, those are promised salvation. Those who fear God. That isn't me judging you, it's me sharing what the Bible says because I don't want anyone to go to hell.

If she's a believer because God is with her and has been revealing Christ, then there's nothing to worry about regardless of sin in the flesh. She is saved. God will work in her heart to choose righteousness, and of course your testimony can help.
If she's a believer who is seeking to find God - not yet born again - she is still NOT under condemnation and wrath. Pray for her to know the holy Jesus up close and personal, for her to be saved.
If she's a believer who doesn't sincerely love or need God, and has chosen religion to round out her gay lifestyle, then I'd be worried what can happen in believing God approves and encourages homosexuality.
There's a lot that can happen to a sinner's soul between now and judgment day, terrible things from which no man can deliver. Sometimes that's what it takes for us to seek God with a true heart.
I find a lot of Christians are ready to judge period!!It seems incredible to me that so many who name the Name of Christ so readily condemn people of homosexual behavior, yet almost never have anything to say about pornography, or unmarried sex, or adultery, or fornication, or divorce. If I browse through the entire forum on any given day, I'm certain to find scores of posts declaring how evil homosexuals are, and very, very few denouncing the other sins. No doubt, some will bristle at my inclusion of divorce in that list. Yet, Scripture no where says, "God hates homosexuality". But, it DOES say "God hates divorce". Is it just me that sees this as odd, and perhaps a bit hypocritical? And, how DOES God feel about all this chicanery?
