Yes.A single miracle disproves a purely natural world.
Not exactly. It proves that we don't live in a "purely natural world". It does not prove that the natural world does not, nevertheless, exist.KWC said:If any miracle ever happened, then the naturalist is proven to be living in a dream world, not reality.
That's what some one writing (perhaps) 3,000 years ago thought. How do you know that it's reality though?KWC said:They were specifically told that by God. If God told the the difference between good and evil, they didn't have to know it themselves.

They were specifically told that by God. If God told the the difference between good and evil, they didn't have to know it themselves.
It is likely that you're wrong. It is unlikely and unproven that any deity exists.
No thanks. I'm an atheist. I don't believe in that juju.Maybe you should read the Scripture verse and see where your wisdom comes from.
It is likely that you're wrong.
Well let's hear it for unproven & unlikely! If we're talking about the same thing, the existence of any sort of deity is certainly unproven, but also unlikely.

Two mental blocks that can only be removed by faith, eh?
Religion has it's value, but it's value is largely personal. As far as the entity itself it's existence (it's real existence, outside of the mind of any believer) is unlikely and unproven.
Btw are you serious? If i didn't know any better, i'd say your profile was satire
I think the work you want is "invisible."Religion has it's value, but it's value is largely personal. As far as the entity itself it's existence (it's real existence, outside of the mind of any believer) is unlikely and unproven.

I think the work you want is "invisible."
1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Yes, I'm serious.
Is there something in my profile that you don't understand?
Now there's a pleonasm, if ever I saw one. It's exaggerated ridiculousness.
My advice to you then is to keep looking.Anyway, it is unlikely and unproven that any deity exists.
Now there's a pleonasm, if ever I saw one.
Kinda like "burning fire," isn't it?
My advice to you then is to keep looking.
Yes -- I get the message: It's still unlikely and unproven that any deity exists. It's still unlikely and unproven that any deity exists.
Fair enough. Belief takes faith. That's an honest position if it is admitted to.Yes -- I get the message: It's still unlikely and unproven that any deity exists.
I'm not of that persuasion however.
In other words, you want me to acquiesce to your science, agree that the universe came into existence scientifically, and that a literal Genesis 1 is wrong -- otherwise I'm anti-science?Anti-science beliefs, though are another matter. Failing to face up to reality is basically dishonest. Dishonest with oneself as much as anyone else.

That's not going to happen; and if it entails that I'm labeled "anti-science" because of it, then so be it.
(This sounds like a trial run for the Tribulation period.)
In the miracle department -- thus my user title. In what way do you think Genesis and science are at odds?
Example? In the miracle department -- thus my user title.

When God shows up with a miracle to perform: SCIENCE CAN TAKE A HIKE.
However, I'll say this much: science wasn't completed until God finished His work and rested the Seventh Day; and even then, it didn't fully-operate until after the Fall, when God let science take the helm.
The universe is now "running down" like a wind-up alarm clock.
