Here’s the issue. You don’t know how to verify what scientists say.

People seem to put way way way too much faith or trust what scientists say, or perhaps they are just going along to avoid painful circumstances inflicted upon them (like in germ any during the war?
Watching what scientists report or say over a year, or decade, too often seeing them change their mind or be proven wrong or actually lied to keep their jobs or money or whatever... EVEN after what they say was "verified" by whoever..... just can't trust them, eh ?

You are making that up. Science changes with new discoveries. If someone could show that ToE is wrong they would be the new Einstein. It’s the stuff of a scientist’s dreams.

This is mostly the media. They are at essence story tellers and they get about 10-15 seconds to capture your attention, then a few minutes (top) to tell the story.

What really needs to happen is for you to realise that sometimes you have to put the work in to understand something with some degree of complexity.

Saying “but it’s the scientist’s fault I don’t understand” isn’t very constructive.

Expecting to magically understand something without having to learn about it is never going to happen.
