CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our local drive-in is called Silvermoon Drive-in and it's great. Vintage ads and they give $2 bills as change

The last drive in movie I saw was Return of the Jedi back in the 1980s. It was the last theater that had not become a Porno screen.

There is one local place, and another around 30 miles out of the city. The local one is in a bit rough area of town though...I wouldn't go walking about outside the grounds. I forget the last movie I saw there, but it was probably around 7-8 years ago.

There's still one in Gatesville, Texas.
The good news is that all showings are double-features, a new movie and an older film (often one from the previous year).
The bad news is that it's only open during the summer, due to the kind of weather conditions in the area the rest of the year.
