Greetings all!

I wanted to chime in here as I've taken the course by Curry Blake on Divine Healing.

Before taking his ministry seriously, I had a condition called Ulcerative Colitis resulting in nonstop bleeding in my stools with a lot of pain. I reached out to the Massachusetts branch of JGLM, managed by Garth Wiebe, and he commanded healing of my UC. It wasn't immediate, but in a week, and after a few commands of healing, my condition healed. My UC was gone. Some want to try and find a natural explanation for it saying it just went into remission, but it takes medication to put UC into remission and I intentionally withheld from medication in order to seek healing through JGLM.

I afterwords took Curry's DHT program. I have seen comments by people here that, not exercising any objectivity but just exercised presumptions, said he charged for this training and implied he is a fraud and is just making money. His training is free online at http://www.dominionlifemovement.com

I have been successful afterwords healing others after the training, but not at the level we see from most faith healers. I follow the model of JGLM healing rooms back in the 1930's, where they meet with a person once each day for 30 days and command healing. Then, most of the time, these people were healed. I am not at the level yet where I can command healing and see immediate results.

In the end, it comes down to a mindset. You need to train your mind, which because of our fallen nature, naturally doesn't want to believe in faith healing. This is why faith healers have to try many times without success before they begin seeing results.

Curry's program, as some seem to imply, doesn't teach false "hidden" mechanisms to conjure healing as if it's reiki disguised as Christianity. It essentially points out the parts of the Bible that clearly instruct Christians to heal the sick, and to have faith in healings. It mentions the theology of many churches that is taught to Christians that causes us to have the wrong mindset about healing, leaving us with a lack of results. It washes these false traditions and irrational theology and puts us back to the word.

The key is to have the mindset that healings are for everyone and to know that when you command it (or exercise a prayer of faith, but not a prayer of hope), it will come.

Many Christians that don't believe in healing have a childish perception that if it were real, anyone could just heal anyone, anytime, and clean out hospitals, etc. Well, to some extent, we are all called on to have this level of faith and any lack of this faith is our own fault, but it's also fair to say we don't see anyone with the perfect level of faith as Jesus himself. Having the proper mindset is not a matter of flipping a switch. You have to train yourself to know, and I mean to know with confidence, that when you command it, or exercise a prayer of faith, it will occur. It takes years for many, and even the best aren't successful 100% of the time.

So it is my fault that I have to break out my commands over 30 days to see results. I can't go into hospitals and clean them out. But I am working on this fault as I continue to practice healings, in hopes it will drop from 30 days, down to 20, and so on.

One thing to consider about people going to healers and never getting results, is the theology of the healer. We can only heal in accordance to our faith. If a healer believes that the sick person needs faith, then regrettably the healing will only work if the sick person has the faith. But it's not because the sick person really needed that faith, but only because the healer limited the effectiveness of his healing by his belief that the sick person does need that faith. I hope that makes sense. Many healers have created exceptions because they didn't have actual faith in their commands to heal, but were too prideful to accept this. So they say, "well, he didn't have faith", "he has hidden sin", etc. And by believing this, it has the effect of limiting his ability to heal so that these conditions, which in truth aren't required, must be met for the healing to come through.

So in the end, it comes down to stepping out in faith, and training the mind that while you do this, you know when you command the healing, the results will come. It is not easy to do. People have a natural fear of looking foolish when they step out and try. But you have to accept that when it doesn't work, it is because you lacked faith in it and not try to make excuses. However, at the same time, understand that it is not easy to have that level of belief, you have to train your mind to reach it, and you won't have perfect faith like Jesus walking on water. You get better over time with much practice.

Hi Albion! No. There were comments that were derogatory towards the diving healing program, so I wanted to share my experiences about it. I've completed it myself and just wanted to share my opinion of the program.

God Bless,
Alan

"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal....
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;"

(A dr spread deadly foam on John G Lake's hand and they found the germs died instantly. Certainty not advocating anyone give it a go but he believed God heals no matter what the situation).

It takes faith in the Lord. This is the gifts of healing - that way it covers all. God uses the medical area sometimes.

Schools like this are helpful because asking and receiving divine healing can be complicated.

Seen people healed after they forgave someone, repented.

"And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick." Luk 9:2

"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh." Pro 4 Through the end of that chapter

"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:13-14
