how could something so positive, warming, and welcoming, ever be a bad thing?

And why would anyone on this site wish to put any negative gestures towards another on a regular basis? Personally, to me this whole Thread borders very closely on breaking the terms of use of this site. In thee aspect of rialing people up intentionally.

This site has rules and regulations that are in the best interest of Christianity, and what you're talking about my friend in Christ, are things that would basically go against that. God is perfect. God wouldn't want people sending other people negative things. He only wants us to support and lift each other up.

So I shall have to respectfully disagree with your stances in this thread, and this thread in general.

I do think a "cute!" button would be neat, but then, I often use "friendly" for that, too.

I like the buttons. I don't think a negative button would be good. Or a disagree button. Bad idea, imho. Could be used to sort of lobb insults, gang up on others theologically, or ridicule.

Why? Because they vehemently disagree with someone's views and posts.

And that is to goad them to say or do something that would get them banned. I have had it happen to me. There are those who dislike my stance on several topics, including but not limited to Replacement Theology and Reform Theology. They would like me to be gone from here.

The best way to disagree with someone is to state why. Then you can discuss it. If you can simply click a button, then neither person has to think about anything. That's not good.
