Repeating your claims is not evidence. Are you going to provide any evidence?Believe in science and not God, bad effects of it in schools since circa 1965. Kick God to the curb, and have more drugs, school shootings, stabbings, the list goes on. Disobey God the Father, like in the book of Job, and He lets Satan, to punish his children, but hopefully restore them.
Not at all. People do. I'm saying they shouldn't.Are you saying Hollywood doesn't affect social issues?
Not a coherent claim, as this is a very religious country and most people involved in public schooling believe in science and God.Believe in science and not God, bad effects of it in schools since circa 1965. Job never disobeyed God the Father, he was tormented by Satan just to see if he would remain faithful because, as Satan pointed out, it is easy to be faithful to a god that constantly showers gifts upon him. Job did stay faithful to God and got a shiny new family to replace the killed ones, which I guess is okay for him if his wife and children are replaceable but kinda sucks for the first family.Believe in science and not God, bad effects of it in schools since circa 1965. My original post - "Have separate schools for Christian, possibly for various denominations within, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, not believers of traditional marriage lifestyle, Atheists, etc. and not restricted to skin color, ethnicity, race, or nationality."
This helps avoid discrimination, but could be not totally; however, Oklahoma will be a testing ground in time and years to come on various aspects you mention.
I did see your disclaimer, "not restricted to skin color, ethnicity, race, or nationality", but things get complicated when people have various forms of segregation or exclusion as part of their religious beliefs. (Remember all the segregation arguments from the Bible that we heard when we were kids?) Even today, some religious groups exclude women or gay people in various ways, as part of their religious beliefs. I suppose something careful could be worked out -- you can have a publicly-funded religious school as long as it adheres to all the civil rights laws, something like that.
Can you describe what Oklahoma is trying to do? I'm not up on my Oklahoma news.
I disagree. My son, who is autistic with learning disabilities, is at a charter school and it's been amazing for him. We could never afford a private school and public was traumatic.Geez, don't get me started on charter schools! Man, who ever came up with that idea is a master grifter, funneling public funds to a private school.
-- A2SG, there oughtta be a law....
The Oklahoma department of education just approved the creation of a Catholic charter school. I don't think it's been challenged yet but it's only a matter of time. Can you describe what Oklahoma is trying to do? I'm not up on my Oklahoma news.
Science to an extent. Many Christians have problems with evolution, given the fact God created the heavens and the earth in Genesis. Not a coherent claim, as this is a very religious country and most people involved in public schooling believe in science and God.
Job may have been very good, but all have sinned, only Jesus is perfect.Job never disobeyed God the Father, he was tormented by Satan just to see if he would remain faithful because, as Satan pointed out, it is easy to be faithful to a god that constantly showers gifts upon him. It depends on how much you believe in the Christian faith. Examples, 9-11-2001, 1-6-2021 insurrection, fires, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, school shootings, etc. God is totally in control. We hope for His Blessings, but there is a reason for these events, which coincidentally follows much disobedience by the people. Back in Old Testament times yet another example with Moses, plagues on stubborn Pharaoh not letting God's people leave to return back to Israel, frogs, locusts, stillborn babies, etc. History repeats itself.Repeating your claims is not evidence. Are you going to provide any evidence?
Have you even read it? How about the Clift Notes?Job may have been very good, but all have sinned, only Jesus is perfect.
Which has nothing to do with the OP, which argues segregation by faith. Did we learn nothing the last time we had segregated schools, that separate but equal sometimes isn't? That all it did was to perpetuate an existing division in society? Are we now to repeat the same mistake, this time along the lines of faith instead of the color of one's skin?Positive influences in their formative and impressionable young years. Secular humanism is not.
The Bible does not detail every event of every person's life. All have sinned since Adam and Eve. John 16:33 can be relevant to Job.Have you even read it? How about the Clift Notes?
In your opinion, how did Job "disobey" God? What did Job do to deserve boils and a dead family? Please be specific.
2 Corinthians 6:14 about being yoked with unbelievers.Which has nothing to do with the OP, which argues segregation by faith. "Yoked" refers to marriage, no? Not to just associating with people of different beliefs.2 Corinthians 6:14 about being yoked with unbelievers.
