@prodromos

Thanks for explaining that. I hadn't considered that it may be a silhouette. I will dump that photo in the "bad evidence" pile. I do still believe it is a model, but a silhouette is indeed a logical possibility.

I now present "Exhibit B":

Would you please give your explanation for this video?

(It is a rather short one, 14:30. Long videos are a waste of time. I prefer to get immediately to the point.)

The video depicts the CIA prompting Apollo astronauts to talk after a false 4 second delay, to make it seem like they were halfway to the moon.

And the photo of the "distant" Earth in the window is shown to be a transparent picture, placed over the window, and made to look like a distant Earth by special effects.

I await your refutation.

Blessings
I'm afraid I would need to see more context before I can make any comment on the video. We only have what the person presenting the video claims is going on. How does he know the person saying "talk" is CIA for example. The camera taking up the window doesn't sound odd to me. The command module is a pretty cramped space and the camera would not need to be pressed against the glass to take up the window, since the astronauts could not see the earth out the window without sticking their heads in front of the camera. I don't find the claims of the video compelling.
What about archive footage from Apollo 8? Apollo 11 was the first to land on the moon, but Apollo 8 had also reached the moon and orbited 10 times before returning to earth.

He does not, however, deny that the International Space Station orbits a globe earth. He wanted to withdraw Russian involvement and launch a Russian only space station, so the above story is a big nothing burger for globe earth deniers.

I also haven't seen him deny that China's Chang'e 5 mission landed on the moon and returned lunar soil samples to earth.

I did not post it as a refutation to the globe lie. But if the lies start being revealed, then it may all start to topple down. Of course it may all be just part of the lie game being played.

Please notice the photo I posted contains three sources:
  1. The NASA photo reference number is visible in the photo. AS11-37-5437
  2. The photo was published in Phil Collins' book, "Carrying The Fire"
  3. The photo was published in Ralph Rene's book, "NASA Mooned America"
I have added a link to the original photo for your convenience:

Please, do not rely only on internet links as a final source of evidence. Books are much sturdier, and more resistant to the Ministry of Truth's propaganda machine. If you show a blooper photo like this to enough people, it mysteriously disappears from NASA's files, and they will claim it was just a hoax photo made by a conspiracy theorist. While photos such as these remain available to the public, save them. The internet is being purged of evidence.
What a fascinatingly counterfactual claim.
Specifically here.

So did China collect the same rocks the Apollo missions did or not?

Obviously not the same rocks, since the rocks in question are now in laboratories and museums on Earth.

Or, or, try this one on for size: the people who like me have been blessed with the ability to discern for ourselves the globular nature of the Earth, and also the people involved in the Apollo program and space probes like Mariner, Venera, Voyager 1 and 2, Pioneer, New Horizons, etc, aren’t the ones lying.

Flat earth believers, non moon landing believers, NASA deniers, Moon has its own source of light believers etc etc are all in the same pot. They all believe in these far fetched wacky ideas. Its very sad to see that these people are so gullible.

I have no problem believing the earth and moon are round and all that. But I do find it strange with the huge advancements in technology since 1969, that putting people on the moon became further and further away from being doable.

Well, they are planning to do just that very soon. I guess other things have taken priority..

Yeah, it's planned to happen 55 or so years later. I'm not entirely into being skeptical about it, but still...

Guess they had other things planned, like the shuttle experiments etc etc etc

Those are some possibilities. Another possibility they weren't really able to accomplish it back then.
Do you apply any of this extreme skepticism
to your personally chosen beliefs?

You got "extreme skepticism" from "I'm not entirely into being skeptical about it". I'm mildly skeptical about it, in a more playful than serious manner.

They very much did accomplish it.
Probably. I watched the Apollo 11 Eagle landing live. My older brother is an absolute aeronautics and space nut and involved me in it as much as he could. So I probably know a lot more about it than the average person.
