I'm afraid I would need to see more context before I can make any comment on the video. We only have what the person presenting the video claims is going on. How does he know the person saying "talk" is CIA for example. The camera taking up the window doesn't sound odd to me. The command module is a pretty cramped space and the camera would not need to be pressed against the glass to take up the window, since the astronauts could not see the earth out the window without sticking their heads in front of the camera. I don't find the claims of the video compelling.@prodromos
Thanks for explaining that. I hadn't considered that it may be a silhouette. I will dump that photo in the "bad evidence" pile. I do still believe it is a model, but a silhouette is indeed a logical possibility.
I now present "Exhibit B":
Would you please give your explanation for this video?
(It is a rather short one, 14:30. Long videos are a waste of time. I prefer to get immediately to the point.)
The video depicts the CIA prompting Apollo astronauts to talk after a false 4 second delay, to make it seem like they were halfway to the moon.
And the photo of the "distant" Earth in the window is shown to be a transparent picture, placed over the window, and made to look like a distant Earth by special effects.
I await your refutation.
Blessings
What about archive footage from Apollo 8? Apollo 11 was the first to land on the moon, but Apollo 8 had also reached the moon and orbited 10 times before returning to earth.
