Thank you all for the prayers and kind thoughts.
I'ts the tenth day since I started taking the pills, and at this stage it's a case of reminding myself that they worked before so they will work this time, soon.
The main side effect is tiredness. Feel heavy, sleepy, slowed down. Not sleeping so well at night either, ( I'd forgotten that side effect) which obvioulsy adds to the weariness.
The doctor ordered a blood test yesterday, to check menopause and thyroid hormone levels, weighed me (yikes!!!) and checked my blood pressure (good!)
She says 4 weeks is the expected time for noticeable improvement, but I know last time I began to feel a bit of a lift as early as 2 weeks, so maybe soon...
God bless you friends.
I heard yesterday that a diffiency in iodine can lead to depression. Kelp is rich in iodine. It never hurts to add it to your diet. It's so easy to use. Sprinkle on salads if you have powdered kelp. If you have the real deal, enjoy with a salad still. It's my favorite way to have it. Maybe that's because many things can lead to depression.i have been often depressed over the last months. havent found a magic cure yet![]()

I think it's good to hear things over and over. If we don't we let them slip. I am constantly hearing it over and over! It works! Thanks all. xx
I managed to do my afternoon work, then rested for half an hour on the sofa when I got home. Listened to a good sermon on praying in tongues and prophesying positively over ourselves and avoiding negative words. (Yes, I know already, but it's good to have it drummed in, and hopefully one day I will actually be doing it more!)
Cindy, I think I will try some kelp.
I do have a slightly enlarged of thyroid gland - my neck is slightly puffy, at times more noticeable than others, and yet whenever they check they say my blood levels are fine. It's been like this since my early twenties, when a nursing colleague noticed it and asked if I had a goitre.
I suspect my thyroid does indeed need a little help, even though blood tests say not, because if it's enlarged that tells me it's trying to work harder for some reason.
Hi.Hi,
Just checking in on you.
I got into a slump and hubby gave me a good set of rules to live by.
Faith, Facts and then emotions.
I went off the deep end of emotions and had to get myself back to my faith and facts.
I'm on the mend. Hope you're doing well.
I was missing you. I guess I know why you were gone, or we have been on different threads. Anyway, good to see ya'!
I like it with the 3 "f"s.Faith, Facts, Feelings. I like that.
