I appreciate your concern, but what I have found over the years that if I were to presume to offer an specific "core beliefs" then one denomination or another will object that I have not represented them correctly. The core beliefs differ from the various denominations, making it impossible for me to address the Christian community as a whole. The best I can do is ask which doctrines are essential to being a Christian and see what is presented.

Oh.

In that case the deciding doctrine would have to be two very similar things that actually work together flawlessly;

Love GOD wholly, utterly, without waiver, in all you do at all times. (This means not placing anything above him(idol worship(sin)))

It sorta causes the other, really;

To love God's creation(loving kindness) also unconditionally as God is ever giving and long suffering for our sake.


Basically live in this physical existence, in the spirit, in thanksgiving and respect in reciprocation and recognition of God and our way towards him made available by the teachings, example, and self sacrifice of the Christ.

I'm not the topic of the thread. It doesn't matter if I'm a marketing major or not. This seems to be a personal attack on my ability to understand topic sentences. I also feel that the continual harping to stay on topic, the topic I defined, has crossed over to being harass

Why don't you give me a list of the terms that you will accept as being equated with "Christians" (in addition to the term "disciples").

If you don't mind, why don't we focus on essential doctrines for awhile. Other than the verses in John 3 that you previously posted what else, if anything, is necessary doctrine?

To be honest, I thought you were trying to be humorous with your earlier posts, because they were so preposterous. Maybe I'm cynical, but it seems that you are deliberately trying to disrupt the thread. Why? This is an important topic. Maybe the answers aren't easy to find, but that only makes the discussion more interesting.
