CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Before you know it the baby will be out and you will feel so much better. I know you know its all worth it. We're all pulling for you here, and I'm sending up another prayer for you.

I realized something phenomenal today when I was driving and doing errands. I've really been struggling with a group of people who are doing major gossip about me since I've tried to start a new ministry in my county recently. It hurts.
Suddenly, the realization hit me that God was not going to reward the people who are making up things about me and exaggerating the facts. And then....I realized that because He is God, and He is fair and just...that He WOULD reward me for the new work I'm doing as long as I keep pure and keep walking with him as I walk through new doors. This made me smile and gave me great comfort.
So....my new thought for the day:
Those who persecute you will not be rewarded by God.
You will be rewarded for persevering in the faith.

We are in good company when we are persecuted, Jesus, Paul, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were all persecuted to name just a few. Take heart, this too shall pass.
