Day 7, Proverbs Chapter 7

In reading Proverbs 7, verse 2 stood out for me:

"Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye."

These are literally "words of Life."

When we embrace these words we embrace life.

This really stood out for me.

(this is just ONE reason we gotta pray fervently for our families, loved ones, and really, ev'ry one....the snares are EV'RY WHERE....God HELP us, ev'ry one.)

Verse 2 stands out for me for soooooo many reasons:

"Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye."

A Father's wisdom, blessing, and prayer for his son.

"My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart." ~Proverbs 7:1-3

Having ears and a heart open to our precious Father's teachings.

it is very precious and very dear to our Father's heart:

Danger: Quicksand.

"He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
