Day #1 Hatching my Quail Eggs

Tomorrow will mark five days....
Has the incubation been going good so far.

Yep thats right, first batch went in the incubator June 10 and my second batch went in on June 12. So theres gonna be a total of 24 I hope........... fingers crossed

Bless you guys, love hanging out at the farm with you here and can't wait to see the little darlings when they hatch. I got busy with some things and meanwhile my whole house has gone to pot, and on Saturday having family over for a father's day get together for my Dad.....have to try and focus on housecleaning and decluttering for a while and figuring out what food to make.......I just seem to be way slower at everything than I used to be, hard to keep up sometimes.

Frienden I'm sorry I don't think I found the post that you were talking about, though I read some others that you wrote, but yes, you are so right on, the signs of the times are sure here and increasing.

I know what you mean, if ya miss one day of cleaning etc., its like a mountain in no time, cool that your having family over for Fathers Day, that should be fun. Figuring out what to cook for several people can take some "deep thought", gotta please everyone, been there and done that lol. Each of my family members make a request which they do not seem to understand would require loads of work. Have you ever tried bacon dogs?

I got into painting some bathroom cabinets, what a to-do that turned into..... and completely lost my grip on the rest of the house for a few days, doesn't take long for a mess to accumulate around here. Thanks for the suggestion....bacon dogs sounds good!

Oh, I'm preparing to have my heart melted into butter by those little fluff-balls when they hatch!

You know, I arm-wrestled the clutter into order and now don't feel overwhelmed and drowning, the rest is just routine cleaning. I think the Lord is trying to show me something about the clutter in my life/heart.......thorns and thistles of the cares of life, as a good friend has mentioned to me. Yesterday I opened my bible right at that passage, too. Any prayers and preaching would be welcome and appreciated regarding that if anybody gets an unction sometime.

its getting closer to the hatching. two weeks at most.
Remember you gave me paternal rights to name one.
I know you did all the work, its why I asked to name just one.
I cant hardly believe how fast the time flew.........my girl will be sixteen this june
the boy eighteen in july.
And soon I get to name a quail too.

IF so..............prepare to receive a kitten or two. Just keep them from the quail.

Siamese are so beautiful they are my favorite cat although a cat wouldn't survive here. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess you got a dog or two like mine. I lost so many cats over the years.
I would get them neutered or spayed , then they go in the back yard, why I have NO IDEA
but its like the dog likes the taste of neutered or spayed over unfixed.
cause it was the like every time I got one neutered.......in short time
I found it dead in the back yard. This lil Siamese was sneaky
it was not even nine months . I went in one day and their he was
and I heard the mating scream . So.....I think the deed is done.
Been about a month. And the teets are pinking up. So yeah I think it got done.

She's peeking up at me. They love to take "dirt baths" and that's also where they prefer to lay their eggs as you can see.

Out of 20 chicks this fellow turned out to be my only rooster, he needs a name, suggestions are welcome cause he's got 13 ladies to handle Fabio?? Strut?? Da man??
