Tom Hopko's talk on Christianity and Armageddon, he talked about the killing of Christians in the 20th century, but he said that the next stage, or I think he called it the pen ultimate stage, is when you're not killed for being a Christian--not thrown in jail or killed like in Soviet Russia--but your church's teachings are changed and there's this view of people being nothing. Do ya'll think we're going to be seeing arrests of our brethren here in America? (or maybe some of us too?)

Now I’m not an official orthodox, although I do hold the Orthodox Church in the highest regard and do embrace a majority of its teaching, so I hope I’m not overstepping my bounds by replying here. I don’t think the church is being attacked per say but instead that the secular government agencies just simply do not understand or recognize the importance of worship as we Christians do. They see church attendance and worship as unnecessary because typically the churches are closed by government agencies while at the same time all entertainment facilities are also closed. Now correct me if am wrong here and it is only churches that have been closed in California, I’m not certain. So I think it’s a bit unfair to say that churches are being singled out, but instead they are being viewed as unnecessary entities. Which couldn’t be farther from the truth I mean only Christians can understand the absolute importance of God’s word, worship, and salvation. All of these being of the utmost importance above all else. Anyways I just wanted to share this. Have a blessed day brothers & sisters.

On another note I think that if protesters are allowed to protest in the streets I think Church groups should be able to meet in large parks are other large outdoor areas to congregate and worship while still observing social distancing.
