Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate each and every one of them.

I agree FineLinen, even though I know the song of Universal Salvation that Our Father in Heaven sings to all people, there are furthermore even greater songs that I don't understand. But with each passing day, I hope to learn it's lyrics.

Psalm 98:4
Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;

Speaking of singing, this verse mentions all the Earth singing joyful praises about the Lord. I personally believe this gives evidence to Universal Salvation, since it's all the Earth.

1 Timothy 4:10 Jesus Christ, the savior of all men, especially those who believe.

Some believers may wonder what the point of believing is if God will save everyone. But, the way I see it, believing in Jesus Christ is necessary for salvation, meaning that everyone will eventually believe that God is Jesus Christ. So for us believers, we believe in God in advance, having learned the truth out of grace, and doing good because of our love for Christ!

Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people."

The Gospel means good news. If even one person is not saved, then it is not good news for everyone. The Gospel for the world means that all flesh will receive salvation from Jesus Christ!

2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.

Jesus Presented in the Temple​

The Boy Jesus at the Temple​

God’s grace wins every time. God’s grace will save everyone, all people will have faith alone in Him, that’s guaranteed.

Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ​

God’s Sovereign Choice​

On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[b] 8 In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring. 9 For this was how the promise was stated: “At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”[c]

14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! 15 For he says to Moses,

we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.”[l]

Israel’s Unbelief​

30 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; 31 but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. 33 As it is written:
“See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[m]

Titus 2:11 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,"

We can't just stop at one verse or pull one verse out. We lose context when we don't have the before or after. For example, we have to continue on after verse 11.

Titus 2:12 "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"

Titus 2:13
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;"

Titus 2:14 "Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.


Salvation is open to all people. But we can see that this last verse specifically does not say all people will achieve salvation.

If what you are stating is true it would read -"Who gave himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purifiy unto Himself all people...."

New Living Translation takes it a step further and says
He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.
Interesting, so the people that will be saved from

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people
...will be God's very own people! How will God have them as His "very own"? Because the Holy Spirit, who is God, will be inside each and every one of them!

And as well, it states "cleans us from every kind of sin". So that means that absolutely zero sin remains! But wait a minute, if God doesn't save everyone, then that means there's sin that's still left out there. Thus, we can deduce the following my friends: Every creature will become believers in Christ Jesus and be washed of all their sins and henceforth they will be God's "very own" people

And like my friend FineLinen would oftentimes say "All = all" :)

Looking through the list above we can see an instance of this appearing in Revelations

INT: and they peoples his will be

Very interesting because Revelations reveals to use that EVERY CREATURE will be worshipping Christ. How? Because they will all have the Holy Spirit in them! God is so clean that they must have the Holy Ghost inside them to be in His presense, since He does not and can not tolerate sin.

Rev. 5:13 "EVERY CREATURE which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever."

God loves every person, every creature. Right now, not everyone believes in Him, but Revelations reveals to use that eventually, every creature will be praising Jesus! Praising Him out of happiness, because they were all saved by the Lamb :D

Christ will save every creature. All people will become believers in Christ, the Lamb, and be saved. And all will be permanently blessed by having the Holy Spirit dwell inside them :)

The original Greek word from the manuscripts is still very specific. It definitely does not mean "all"

Greek word 4041- periousios -being beyond usual. i.e. special (one's own) -peculiar.

That would not fit the verse if it meant Christ was going to purify "all". Yes, the grace of God that bring salvation has appeared to all. But it does not mean all will accept that.

A very good example of purification is in Zechariah 13.

Zechariah 13:8 "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein."

Zechariah 13:9 "And I will bring a third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God."


We see very specifically that two parts will cut off and die but the third will be tried and refined during their life times.

You are kind of contradicting yourself with even these translations. -Purify himself to a people eager to do good. Eager to do good means someone has actually come to true repentance/change of heart. Those people are the special/peculiar group that he will call his own.

When Christ returns every knee will bow. They will know he is Christ. But that doesn't change this verse-

Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

As Christ states this is the second death. The same Lake of Fire that was prepared for the devils and his angels. This is not a refinery. People are refined during their lifetimes. Christ calls it the second death for a reason. There's no coming back from that. Salvation is there for the taking for everyone/all people. But anyone not written in the book of life at the end will suffer the second death. That's what the scriptures state.

Vs. 13 If all mankind will be saved even after death why is Paul telling Titus "Looking for that blessed hope?" If it is only a hope, it is not a done deal.
Vs. 14, the word translated "might redeem" is in the subjunctive mood, the mood of possibility and probability. Also, not a done deal. Versus the active, indicative.

I agree with you here my friend, at least. There are those during His time who did not believe in Him, and died. There are those who were born after His time, and died after His time and did not believe in Him.

But death does not stop Jesus from saving someone, He is Almighty. He will empty out Sheol, the realm of the dead, so everyone who died will become believers in Him and gain permanent salvation. Yes, even those who crucified Him :D

1 Samuel 2:6 The Lord kills and he gives life, he sends down to Sheol, he can bring the dead up again.
