What man are you talking about? The phrase "stretching out the heavens" was written in several different books by different authors.

No the Bible isn't written like this...

Look, you have to understand that 2 or 3 thousand years ago man didn't know what he was looking at when he looked up in the sky during the night or during the day for that matter. From their writings, such as the bible, we can deduce that they thought it was like a stretched fabric above them. Like a tent or a curtain pulled taut. Stretched out. They couldn't make it much plainer.

The phrase has nothing to do with the universe expanding.

Oh no, no, no you don't...!!

EVERY SINGLE TIME someone brings up the historical development of science, you start squealing your 'past state' bilge, whining that what happens now 'doesn't count' because the past and the present can't be linked...
Calm down, try to do the math. Very simple. Science existed how long? Let's allow a few hundred years for modern science? The state change after the flood would have been 4400 plus years ago. Obviously the things developed by science are within this state! That ace stays up my sleeve.
NOW THAT IT SUITS YOUR PURPOSES, you cowardly try to argue that the past now "affects everything" IN THE PRESENT....!!
How would the present NOT be affected by 'now'?? You seem to be lost in a jungle of confused logic.
I don't have to defeat you.....you've just done it yourself...!
Ah, so maybe this insane desire to win is what led you down the confused blather path. Try to just focus and not get personal. It might help.

Einstein's theory of relativity has only existed for about 100 years. Therefore, in the 1700's there was no gravity.

Excellent logic, dad.

Hey, dad has developed very robust defense mechanisms to hold onto his beliefs.

You are confusing the hypothesis with the conclusion. A hypothesis is a guess at what will happen, but it doesn't (if the experiment is done right, anyways) have an impact on the conclusion. The conclusion can be completely different from the hypothesis.
False! Science uses (so called science) beliefs to base claims on. That is their method!

Let's see them in action..

"The tiny smudge of light captured by the orbiting Hubble telescope took 13.2 billion years to reach Earth, which means the galaxy was born just 480 million years after the Big Bang that created the cosmos."

NASA looks 13.2 billion years into past, declares UDFj-39546824 oldest galaxy ever seen | News.com.au

As we can see a whole host of beliefs is used to get to this crazy place in the warped imagination of the so called science priests.

So called science and what you call "beliefs" are something you take advantage of everyday, every week, every month and every year of your life dad. You should be thankful.

From their writings, such as ...
From their writings, science declares the universe sailed out of a tiny hot soup. They declare some 95% OF THE UNIVERSE UNKNOWN DARK STUFF! They assume time and space is the same far beyond where they can go. They are fanatical pagan priests of darkness.

Not what I suggested in any way. Nice bit of falseness. Since our nature existed for thousands of years, we used it that long. Since science was here a lot less, we uses science for less time.

The reality is that science as you admitted has only been around so long. That time is miniscule compared to our state. Therefore it is foolish and false to pretend that science observed anything before this state. Period. Reality...meet Loudmouth.

Oh its very related. The scientific beliefs as you call them, have worked pretty well for you and everyone else.
Only since our nature existed. Obviously. How would the laws God ordained for this temporal nature NOT work??

If time doesn't exist as it does in our solar system, years are a bogus concept! You do not know that time does exist as in our spacetime here far far away. You be hooped.

Oh I see.......your looney claim has now morphed....not only was there a different set of physical rules in the past, but now you also claim that it's a different set of rules 'over there'....!

Do you have any idea how silly you sound....?

No, it isn't, it is always at the end.
As demonstrated, the beliefs are used to form a conclusion actually. They believe space and time is a certain way, therefore they assume certain distances and events, and etc etc etc. Then they conclude more insanity based on the pile of beliefs.
