10 cm is about 4 inches. That is pretty big.

You have my prayers.

Yeah and you need as much to give birth so I guess its big enough but I'm just guessing 4 inches doesn't even seem very big but then i dont know how big my kidney is in compared to a cyst.

A normal adult kidney is about 10-13 cm long and 5-7.5 cm wide. You are talking about a cyst that is about the same size as your kidney.

I think this information is important:

Kidney cysts: Complications - MayoClinic.com

Complications

  • An infected cyst. A kidney cyst may become infected, causing fever and pain.
  • A burst cyst. A kidney cyst that bursts causes severe pain in your back or side.
I may have had an infected or a burst cyst as I was in severe pain for a couple of weeks. Sadly, the cyst did not go away but reoccurred.

I will pray for you as the developing baby may press upon this cyst and cause more pain.
Please see your physician if this should happen.
