Agreed, so we might as well not have the subforums then. I was hoping that the proposed solution would have been better than nothing, but maybe nothing is better.

It's my opinion that making these promises (or promises-by-implication) and then reneging is much worse than never proposing them to begin with. Putting them under non-Nicene had seemed an acceptable compromise to me.

g) If you believe you are a Christian, you are. No more reliance on our own definition of what we think is a Christian. In the end, who are we to judge."

If this is going to be true, the LDS deserve to have their very own congregational home as their safe haven.

What do we gage "orthodoxy" with since we lost the Nicene Creed? What keeps the Mormons on the outside? Not believing they are really Christaisn is not good enough and is a direct contradiction of the 777 reforms.

Erwin - I suggest that the congragational forums be moved to the fellowship section. It would allow each "group" to have their own place to gather and fellowship without the implication that others seem to conclude - that allowing the LDS and JW to have congregations constitutes an endorsement of their theology and doctrines.

You can start fellowship threads if you want, but these sections will be aimed towards debate. There will not be any safe-havens or congregations for non-Christian or unorthodox groups.
This is an Administrative announcement, not subject to member discussion or to wiki rules?

I have noticed, only too well, how it's mostly "staff, and
former-staff" - who are given a Voice, anywhere here :sigh: sad.

Well, I am going to state my opinion on this one point, anyway.
PLEASE keep Bible-bashing, Orthodox-fellowship 'christians' inside their current section, to
reduce the chances of them harming :sigh: more people.
~~~
The *Friendship*-section, with all its wonderful nooks & crannies, is being fellowshipped by
more emotionally-Healthy :thumbsup: folks, and frankly - I think I'd like for it to remain this way.
Thank you, Annie
Just staff? Not members?
Staff did not make this decision. Please stop making statements that have no basis in reality. As much as you would like for it to have been staff, it wasn't.
Really?
I'm trying to understand what happened. If you understand, please explain. And please also post links to the wikis I missed.
