Hey Shield. Good to know you're reading my posts again.
I do believe I have posted biblical support for my own position which you have ignored, back fairly early in the first instance of this post. As you don't seem to care about that I don't really see why I should keep reading you bible verses. Should I? Do you want me to get out the bible again to support what I say?
I personally don't believe that you are a Christian. I believe that you are what we call a "Nominal Christian". A 'Christian' in name only; but not the genuine article.
And why is that? Because I don't want all those people killed? Like I have stated before, communists whom you would want killed can easily be Christian and good people. The first Christians were communists. We're all sinners, and according to the bible we should all die for our sins. And we all would - if not for Christ. So what is it that makes unruly children, people who preach communism, fornicators, gang members, homosexuals, pedophiles and more fall outside the blood of Christ?
I could be wrong. I don't know everything about you; however, from what I have read from you, I can not in good conscience call you a true born again believer. Your sheer hatred of me, and your lack of credence in the Word of God; forces me to believe that you are only a "nominal Christian".
I don't hate you Shield. I certainly hate what you're proposing. I have seen it before in Europe, and then it had a swastika stuck to it. I have seen it before in Cambodia with a hammer and a scythe slammed on it. I have seen it all over the world. It's not new. But it - what you are suggesting - is evil.
I am, in fact, trying to love you. Oh I find that very very hard to do because as I have said, when I see what you propose I see Hitler. I see all that is evil in man's history. And I see the polar opposite to Christ's teachings.
Still wanting to do what is right, but going about it with everything so off the small and narrow.
So please excuse me if I don't listen to a word you have to say.
Feel free to ignore me. But please do take a hint. When you have ticked off Suomipoika, myself and many others to the point of calling you a satan, it's not for no reason. It's what you propose to do Shield. I understand where it's coming from, what with your past and all, but it's still wrong. Jesus died for those people. He's die for any one of the worst ones of them. Even that gay man who lived with you. Or your wife's ex-husband. If one of those were the only human left Jesus would have died for them and then given them the choice of following Him or not.
Jesus is all about love, Shield. Love towards all human beings. You, me, Mother Theresa, Charles Manson, Jack The Ripper, Adolf Hitler. God loves us all, despite what we have done. Jesus died so that every one of us can live. He didn't die so that we can persecute one another, incarcerate one another, and kill one another because the other person sinned.
The parable of the unforgiving servant comes to mind:
Matthew 18:23-35 said:
23"Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents[a] was brought to him. 25Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
26"The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.' 27The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28"But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii. He grabbed him and began to choke him. 'Pay back what you owe me!' he demanded.
29"His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, 'Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.'
30"But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32"Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?' 34In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
I tried to tell you with all my emotions Shield. And I shouldn't have. I don't hate you. I do hate what you're proposing though, and I pray that you will see why. Because as it is, you're this unforgiving servant. You have been forgiven all your sins, but you would go after so many other human beings and kill them for theirs.
That's serious, as this passage tells.
