  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

the subject title is pretty self-explanatory, but i was wondering: do/have any of you gotten cramps (comparable to menstrual cramps) right after using the bathroom? sometimes, if i hold it for just a couple of minutes longer than if i'd gone right away, i have decently painful cramps that can sometimes prevent me from even standing up straight.

i have a dr's appt on friday, and i'll ask her then, but until then, i was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

i'm 33 weeks, and i HAVE been having braxton hicks. these kind of feel like that, but lean much more towards menstrual cramps, whereas the braxton hicks have been an all-over contracting and hardening of the uterus.

no, i don't have to strain -- that's what weird. i think "i have to go the bathroom," then i go to the bathroom with no problems, and when i'm walking out of the bathroom, i start to feel these cramps. it's all very strange.

The only thing I can think of, of course I'm not a doctor, maybe the bowel movement is making room and the baby shifts onto something that is creating the pain.
I will pray for you and the for doctor to have wisdom.
If it happens again before your appointment I would call, just to have peace of mind.
