I'm really happy with the facility she's in. It's pretty new and quite nice...very homey and the staff is just wonderful. She has a lot of well trained, caring people working toward getting her healthy and strong.

I'm taking a little break today and perhaps tomorrow too. I checked on her this morning...but I'm not going back until tomorrow afternoon...and I'm very comfortable she's in good hands all around....... Priase God!

Thanks everyone for your prayers...God is certainly listening and moving through this circumstance...just never ceases to amaze me what an awesome God we serve!



Now...I'm off for a wonderful little nappy nap!

As many of you know...I've been back home in Houston for about a month. My aunt is still in the Nursing Home in Ohio...and is making progress...please continue to keep her in prayer as she really wants to go home. Prayers for her emotional, mental and spiritual well-being as well are very much needed.

Please keep me in prayer as well...for God's guidence and His peace.

Please also keep my health in prayer...I've been quite ill with bronchitis this past week...and I don't seem to be recovering very well. I do feel a bit better than I did last week...but I have a painful and relentless cough that is absolutely wiping me out.

Hubby is taking real good care of me....poor guy...living with this sick chickie for over a week now....he's so concerned...I don't like to see that look on his face....not to mention...I've been quite the crabby patty here and there...

Just wanted to say thanks again...I'm feeling quite a bit better...cough still isn't all that wonderful...but has subsided a good bit.

It looks like my aunt will be leaving the Nursing Home within a week or so. Thank you for your continued prayers for her.

Thanks for letting us know. That cough will take awhile
to be totally gone, mine took awhile. Please don't over-

I was at the store 2 days ago and saw recent pictures
of Patrick Swayze.....

PLEASE PRAY for this man - his salvation first and foremost

I know...I was heart broken by those photos as well...and I say a prayer every time I see them...one good thing about the mags...they sure give us plenty to pray about.

It's heartbreaking to me. I don't know these people personally,
but I don't have to know them to care.

I grew up with Patrick Swayze being a hunky icon in my single
days and even dated a guy that looked just like him.

It's like somebody I've known for years and to see them
disintigrate before your eyes is just unreal to fathom.


Farrah Fawcett needs prayer too - I hear she's down to about
86 pounds? She has to be so frail.

I am struggling at the moment... feelings of rejection, inadequacy and an inability to deal with the past.. or the present come to that.
I'd appreciate prayer, if you have a moment... I know God is there and cares.. but... I can't seem to find Him at the moment, or believe that He wants anything to do with me...

Trust and believe on His promises - and hang on to them.

I have to take time today to pray yet - been very busy
w/ my work, but I will pray today for you.

awww sister (((hugs))) been there many times...and I don't know if this is helpful...but what I've found....through those times...is that God is doing some really BIG work....and sometimes....we have to go through the valley experience because that's where the best fruit grows!

keeping you in prayer sister......and I'll certainly pump it up.

There has been a case of swine flu in my town. The guy is someone who has come back from a holiday in Florida and is recovering well, thank God and none of his family seem to have it (again thank God). I don't know him but there may well be other cases of the disease in my town so I am really worried about my elderly parents especially my mother who has a partially collapsed lung and is on permanent oxygen and, I suspect has a compromised immune system. So please pray for protection for my parents and for my peace of mind as I am worried sick.

I would very much appreciate prayer for my ex-employer Bob and his family. His beloved wife Marie died unexpectedly this morning.

She was such a lovely and gentle woman who loved the Lord with all her heart.

Please keep their family and friends in prayer.
