CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm back, things went extremely well. The doc came in and gave a choice of my son being up under or just essentially toughin' it out while he straightened the bone in the forearm. Son said "hey I can take a little pain" and you could sure hear the creak when the doc moved it. He's in a cast now and everything went extra great

He's 13~~not the rough-n-tumble son like my 9 y/o but yeah he's got some inner guts..

How's he doing? Adjusting OK to the cast so far...not too much pain?
He was in a cast with a broken arm back in 2001~he remembers the deal, I think he likes it a bit 'cause he gets to have some preferential treatment

Sorry if that wasnt clear, I was referring to a rather nasty situation that occured in real life nothing on CF, things like verbal abuse, stalking, violation of confidentilality with pastoral care sessions becoming the topic of the pastors staff meeting. It left me really bitter and twisted and wanting nothing of God for a long time.
