CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Again...thank you all for your prayers...((hugs))
My aunt is still on the ventilator and prayerfully...I'm hopeful she will come off it soon and continue to recover.
So far there has been little change in her condition.

Thanks again everyone for your prayers. My aunt seems to be improving a bit...going in the right direction now. Praise God!
They are starting to wean her off the ventilator and she has been off the sedation now for 3 days and seems a bit more responsive and alert every day.
She's still very, very weak and will need lots of rehab to get moving again...but things are starting to look encouraging!

it's all the Lord...He's the One doing all the work...and providing the way for me to be here....and it's so awesome because I know it's all Him and there is such a peace and comfort in that!
Hubby is such a blessing and he'll be here in a few hours...
He can only stay for 5 days...but that's OK...I can't wait!Thank you sister for your prayers and encouragement!...

Hi all I'm requesting prayers for my brother-in-law. We just found out he has cancer that may be in the brain now and possibly fatal. If it helps his name is Johnny.

Yes, thank you...I have a prayer request in this thread for my aunt...She's doing better but we still have a long way to go recovery wise...
God is good...His will be done...all to His praise, honor and glory...

My aunt was transfered to a Nursing Home yesterday for long term care and rehab. I just found out today it's going to be months before she might be well enough to leave.
Please continue to keep her in prayer for her recovery and please keep me in prayer for continued endurance and wisdom how to proceed from here...I don't think I can be away from home for several months...
...all according to God's perfect plan and purpose...I really need His direction on this.
