I never made the claim. You made the claim Jewish or Christian religious figures were not there - with no actual evidence. The burden is still on you.
You provided no evidence.
Jumping to illogical conclusions is your bag, not mind. I really don't care what their reasons are for not providing information to people like Starnes, and their refusal is not evidence.
Says you.
Now you are out of ideas on how to counter me.
Again, you have run out of ideas.
Can you think of any benefit for them not to have released such evidence when it was requested?
At this point, releasing anything would be suspect, because it's honestly taken too long...
Why give Starnes the feeling he should be taken seriously? I doubt he's a blip on anyone's radar.
This is the same logic that ruled every Birther with a conspiracy theory -- Obama releases his birth certificate; it's a forgery -- he doesn't release it; it's a coverup.
The world is full of people who do not deserve attention -- Why is it surprising that Starnes should be considered one such person?
You're trying to dodge the issue.
It has to do with the amount of time it took for him to release it. If it had been released immediately it would have shown that the birthers were idiots, because he waited so long people started to wonder if the crazies were actually right for once.
I said this to USincognito, and I'm going to tell this to you. Drop the Saul Alinsky tactics.
The issue is that I can think of a couple of dozen reasons why the School Board didn't respond to Starnes (assuming they didn't; we only have his word on that), so why are you immediately buying into the only possibility that fits a specific agenda?
...or did I just answer my own question?
I never wondered -- I knew they were crazies.
Were you at all convinced?
---somewhat off-topic ---
Actually, I think that the timing was perfect.
Confucius said, "Don't use a cannon to kill a mosquito." You only get one chance to make an impression with the Birth Certificate -- so make it count.
The Birthers were (and in all fairness are, since some of them still aren't convinced) idiots, but there's nothing to gain by exposing a few on the fringe.
No, they're small fish -- you need to wait until you get a big fish on the line... a fish named Trump, for example.
You think it was a coincidence that the Birth Certificate was released as the rumors began to build up steam that Trump -- himself an outspoken Birther -- was considering a run for the Presidency?
Before the BC was released, Trump was a popular figure with the potential to enter the race, or at the very least, a fundraiser who would've had the ear of every Conservative nominee... after the BC was released, he was just another one of the idiots. His political cred was reduced to zero, and he scurried back into his tower.
Don't get the wrong idea; this wasn't a plan specifically to discredit Donald Trump -- it could've been anyone, but he was just the first big fish to take the bait.
Timing, Garfield... it really is everything.
USincognito didn't say this to you, so I will. If you cannot address my points and instead must resort to personal attacks against me, I will report you.
This forum has rules, Garfield, and you will abide by them.
Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. There is no defense. Its irrational. Its infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. -- Wikipedia concerning Rules for Radicals
Todd Starnes, whether you like him or not has, is part of Fox News, you're telling me that the School Board didn't think it was worth their time to address a question from the most watched cable news network on television?
....how could they do such a thing?
I guess the board didn't realize the gravity of the situation!
Shall we review?
A student emails his mom over description of Mohammed in his vocabulary lesson.. Mom over-reacts and calls in Todd Starnes to call out the evil Common Core agenda.
Substitute Jesus for Mohammed, and we'd be seeing the mainstream media going bonkers over this...
In this case, that did not happen.
What we have in this case is the right wing media going bonkers.
Todd Starnes, whether you like him or not has, is part of Fox News, you're telling me that the School Board didn't think it was worth their time to address a question from the most watched cable news network on television?!?!?
If that was Obama's motive, then he's a very petty individual, to wait for the moment to humiliate the most people that he possibly could (average Americans), just to benefit himself politically...
Going after someone running against you is one thing, but actively trying to humiliate average Americans who are critical of Obama's policies is an unprecidented new low for an American President.
Look I understand if you weren't thinking of using Saul Alinsky tactics, but you were personally attacking Todd Starnes, specifically you were using ridicule (which is rule 5) instead of addressing what was brought up in his article.
I'm also going to say this right now, if you're offended by something I've said, you should ask for clarrification or my reasoning, only thing threats do is tick me off.
If it's so 2008, why are you using those tactics...
As I pointed out already, he isn't the only source...
Considering the seriousness of the charge and the ease of being able to refute the charge if they had released the documents requested, suggests that the documents don't exist.
I'm really glad I wasn't drinking a soda when I read your comment.
Substitute Jesus for Mohammed, and we'd be seeing the mainstream media going bonkers over this...
You are, as usual, very confused.
A. I'm not using any tactics.
B. The ony things I know about Alinsky are from Wikipedia.
C. You, as you do quite often, get a meme in your head and repeat it ad nauseum as if it had any relationship to the conversation or topic at hand.
Awesome. That has nothing to do with the fact, nor does it diminish in the least, the fact that Lying Todd Starnes is a liar and a propagandist. He's also a hypocrite.

I know. It's very serious that children are being taught vocabulary.
You can thank the fact that you evolved from a fish for throat hardware that doesn't allow you to breathe and drink at the same time.
Fantasy on your part.
The only hysterical reaction is from the Todd Starnes, Brian Fischer, Sean Hannity and the weak-willed sheep who get led by these propaganda artists.
Yeah yeah, we all know you don't like Todd Starnes, now how about you address the issue instead of ranting about how "evil" Todd Starnes is.
It's called propaganda, USincognito...
I don't have a problem with teaching vocabulary, I do have a problem when they are injecting ideographs into it.
Whatever...
So much for the argument on another thread that people of different religions are treated the same as Christians...
Better put your PJs on then slugger.
Where did I say Lying Todd Starnes is "evil" (scare quotes or otherwise)? Why don't you quote me where I said that or I'm going to report you for flaming and goading me.
As far as addressing the issue? What? The school board isn't interested in dancing for Lying Todd Starnes when he tells them to. So what? He's a talking head who blathers on talk radio. I would hope they would react the same if Mancow Muller or Mike Golic demanded they do something.
Correction - GJL and like minded individuals are calling it propaganda.
Neat!
I forgot you're a science denier. My bad.
I have no idea what you're talking about. If you could clarify I'd appreciate it, if you can't I'd appreciate you not lying about me as much as you do.
In every thread in A-P where faults in progressivism/liberalism/socialism/marxism have been factually and nakedly exposed. And so the thread has successfully been turned from the Common Core worksheets to a debate about the source.
Where have I seen that tactic advocated before?
