Genesis describes an ex materia 6 day creation, not an ex nihilo 6 day creation. In case that is still disputed:
Partly true.

The correct view appears to be --

Genesis 1:1 God made everything. -- and Gen 1:2-end is more detail specifically dealing with Earth , life on Earth, our solar system.
Gen 1:2 - shows a pre-existing condition to vs 3.

Each of the 7 literal days of creation week has God speaking something into existence.

Step 1. Read the Bible (See Gen 1-2, See Ex 20:11)
Step 2. Believe the Bible
Step 3. Admit that Moses was not a Darwinist
Step 4. Admit that the newly freed slaves at the foot of Sinai in Ex 20 - were not going to creatively "imagine" Darwinism INTO the text of Ex 20:11 or Gen 1-2.

Amen. Jesus said "I AM the WAY the TRUTH and the Life" John 14. His Word can be trusted.

Indeed - we observe what God's Word says.
We observe that rabbits don't come from water, dust, rocks , gas. Rather infinite God would be needed just as His text says.

In fact -- it is "The best guess of man about the things that we see and the cause for the way things behave as they do"

Incomplete facts exist because because humans are not infinite in knowledge, and must imagine/guess when it comes to gaps in our ability to reproduce something in the lab and explain every part of it.

....
The fact that the sun is created day4 after plants on day 3... wipes out the argument for millions of years between each day.

No, we'll never discover the fullness of Him, but that just means that our discoveries will never end, and never stop getting more glorious and spectacular, and we will never stop growing in power, and in love.
Unless we ourselves close ourselves to new discoveries, new ways of seeing and understanding, We tend to do that by clinging to what we think we know because we feel secure with it.

The one on the left appears to be a "bird' s-eye" lens view. Notice that almost all of South America and Canada are gone. The edge effect of the bird's-eye lens "curves" them out of the picture and expands the center of the image, which in this case is the USA (Texas).

Sure. And day 1 is light that is spoken into existence, not the heavens and earth.

vs 1 "God created everything" - the heavens and the Earth - is the general summary of all of it.

But then begins the details in vs 2 -- details about the state of things before all the things made during the 7 day week. Vs 2 and 3 do not say "let there be water", or "let there be rocks". There is a starting condition for the 7 day week ... Some things were made on the spot during that 7 day week. But other things like rocks and water existed on this rotating planet before that week.

Each day in that seven day week - was exactly one evening-and-morning. That only works with literal days.

The "earth"was formless and void ... darkness covered "the surface of the deep". That is a statement about this one planet... darkness here, on this one planet. The scope of that statement is Earth - not the entire universe.

Sure. Though I'm not sure how this differs from the video posted above, if we both agree that nothing is actually happening in verse 1.
