Well, I was busy bee last evening trying to accomplish things on my list, and lo and behold if I did not slice my index finger open about 1 1/2". Had to drive self to ER, then the wait was too long *3 hrs, so went to an urgent care and they cleaned it up and glued shut. needless to say tasks are limited today..
Can't win for losing these days..
ahh, they will pass. and I will get through it, and be stronger as a result

Slicing any-finger open is gonna be awkward [nts: 'painful']
but recovering an 'index finger' is gonna feel really strange indeed

I am so sorry...but glad you are ok!
It must be a sign you really need to slow down and rest.
Perhaps there is too much on your plate and not ALL must be done?
Wish I could help...all I can offer is prayer

I think y'all are right. I need to slow down. I had my ex son in law help today. I actually took time out to have an early Christmas dinner with some old friends at a church. That was nice too..So, I did rest today. The finger looks icky..ewwee..hope it does heal quickly.

I have that surgery on the 20th and must MUST get some things done. Just have a couple of more boxes to unpack downstairs, get a twin bed for my daughter, move her full size bed to the other guest room for my mom to sleep when she comes to help out, clean that guest room up some, get a rug for the kitchen, and finish decorating the tree. I did get it put up today and put water in it, lol. So that's progress..I have to study for my 2 finals on Wednesday, and have six weeks to complete the other 2 and also the work I am behind in. So that's good..

You know, busy life can be a blessing too...especially when you have the strength and energy to do things...I remember having to learn how to slow down tho...things in the body did not bounce back to "normal" so fast, some things never went back to "normal"...

maybe that glue makes a wound look icky too...never had that done.

I must make myself get dressed now...Gracie sees the vet today for another shot...she is doing great...breaks my heart not to play with her tho...she must stay as quiet as possible.
