And you as well my dear sister Gail. Where's Dave? Hi Connie and Tom. Speaking of sharing personal things....it is common for us as Christians to be tempted to gossip under the pretense of asking specifics for prayer. When I was diagnosed with depression, I didn't attend church for months for ffear that someone would ask me was I had wrong with me. Some people are insistent even when you say "it's personal" but most will back off with that phrase.
I finally managed to face my fears and led the morning worship service with Alan this past Sunday. I simple said (from the pulpit) that I appreciate their continued prayers for a personal illness and the recovery is ongoing...no one pushed for more. It's good to be back in the house of the Lord with the family of God.

We had a blue VW Bug back in the 70's

I feel for you packing....that is not a fav for me (too detailed )but I am working on taking less

We got the washer all unhooked and emptied, and the area clean for the new machine.

The groomer just called and my baby is ready to come home

Well, I have things for Gracie, a few clothes, blankets for my bed...enough enzyme to make my mite treatment "juice". Teas, a small amount of food just for my diet...soooo it gets a little complicated...I take my camera and lenses...the Lap Top stays home this trip.

I got it all organized and packed...plus went out to get groceries, Gracie got her walk...we had a light dinner out.

I may or may not be online for the next few days...people will be staying at my son's house...it will be busier than normal there.

You took a great picture, one like I would love to have for our two fur babies. Penny is such a beautiful dog, and she does remind me a lot of my little Hank. We just had our two at the groomer just recently, and I know what you mean about missing them. Hank also has some favorite toys that he carries around all the time. Our little Lucy doesn't care about toys at all.

We've been having severe thunderstorms here several times recently - mainly during the night. Some of them have had spectacular thunder claps that scare Hank and Lucy half to death. So, there is no sleeping here during a loud thunderstorm.
