Really? Moved any mountains recently? They'll just move the decimal point, and then agree with you.
While our faith moves mountains, theirs move decimal points.
If UDFy-38135539 is 13 billion light years away and there is an infinite amount of space beyond that, then how old is the universe?
Science has always had difficulty with mountains moving, contintental drift, and expanding earth; it seems only faith in Expanding Earth or God allows for mountians to move.Really? Moved any mountains recently?
The scientific consensus is that the universe is at least 13.7 billion years old, and has expanded from a singularity to its current size and shape over that time. It is a popular misconception that this means the universe is a sphere 13.7 billion lightyears in radius - its volume is, in fact, much larger, and its edge is of unknown topologyIf UDFy-38135539 is 13 billion light years away and there is an infinite amount of space beyond that, then how old is the universe?
We know how mountains and continents move and change through natural processes, thanks to science. These phenomena are no more difficult than any other well-established fact in science.Science has always had difficulty with mountains moving, contintental drift, and expanding earth; it seems only faith in Expanding Earth or God allows for mountians to move.
Anything else God has told you that you'd like to share with us?It is a popular misconception that this means the universe is a sphere 13.7 billion lightyears in radius - its volume is, in fact, much larger, and its edge is of unknown topology
Anything else God has told you that you'd like to share with us?
So the atheist deity known as "Not Got" told you?Not God.
Not us: you. It's what simply looking at things shows us.
So when a colorblind madman in a lunatic asylum says the sky is pink and green polkadots, you call that science?I don't believe my car is purple because God told me so. I believe it's purple because it's purple when I look at it. That's really how simple science really is, you know.
We call that AoS.So when a colorblind madman in a lunatic asylum says the sky is pink and green polkadots, you call that science?
I'm curious as to why God would be masquerading as interstellar spectra...Anything else God has told you that you'd like to share with us?
I think you'll have to ask God that question when you see Him...I'm curious as to why God would be masquerading as interstellar spectra...
If God exists, and I have the chance to question him, I'll have rather more important things to ask himI think you'll have to ask God that question when you see Him...![]()
Let's hope the venue isn't the Great White Throne Judgment. If God exists, and I have the chance to question him, I'll have rather more important things to ask him![]()
Why would God care whether someone is an evolutionists or a creationist? You have to believe in Christ, not specifically YEC, to be saved.Let's hope the venue isn't the Great White Throne Judgment.
I can see an evolutionist standing there and starting to present all his evidence on why he believed what he believed, and God says, 'Show Me'; and the evolutionist turns around, only to find...
Revelation 20:11 ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Not even his evidence will stand by him in 'court'.
This is very true -- that's why I said, "Let's hope..."Why would God care whether someone is an evolutionists or a creationist? You have to believe in Christ, not specifically YEC, to be saved.
Why not? Is God above conversation? This is very true -- that's why I said, "Let's hope..."
The point of my post, is that, when the time comes, there will be no physical evidence being presented as to why someone didn't get saved.
Many people have the attitude, "If God exists, He and I are gonna have a long talk."
And that ain't gonna happen.
He won't need to explain it -- they'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt. Why not? Is God above conversation?
