  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It has been proposed that global warming is causing co2 levels to rise, not the other way around.

A graph recently shown here supports that theory by indicating that temperature rise has preceded increases in atmospheric co2. If that's the case there is little we can do to mitigate global warming. Thoughts?

There is global warming on Mars or was I told it was our moon, how much CO2 and who is producing it?

Concerning Chicken or the Egg, depends which one the cook gets to first.

This right here is exactly why atheists are bothered by others having religious beliefs. Please, for the love of your children and all future generations do NOT live as though God will fix things before they get out of hand. Remember, he allowed the Holocaust.

And you will think global warming when God set loose his judgment upon this earth and many of its peoples.

But as in His grace He restores this broken earth to near perfect environment for a 1000 years. Where if a person dies at a hundred years of age will be a cursed

Please don’t bet the future of humanity on something you believe by faith. Do your part as a steward of the planet. If we fail, we fail, but don’t let it be due to your negligent reliance on divine deliverance or judgment.

You're prepared to hold your breath until then?

As long as we are under the sway of the devil nothing effective will be done about the environment. :swoon:

But what is the 'sway of the devil' you ask?

Rejecting revelation and leaning on our own understanding.

That’s more of that magical thinking I’m warning about. What happened when no one listened to Noah about the flood?

Humanity will live on and a earth will be here for them to live on. But just like the death and new grow seen in our plants. Humanity, the earth and heavens must also experience a death and new birth for eternal life.

Regenerative agriculture can nullify anthropogenic CO2.

Yes, all of this shall pass eventually, but that nihilistic attitude is not constructive when the well-being of the next few generations is at stake.

From the data on this chart, would you say that temperature is dependent on atmospheric CO2 concentrations, or vice versa?

That final off the chart spike in co2 doesn't have an accompanying spike in temperature, yet anyway. Curious.

Exactly! Yet? That spike started during the Industrial Age. When do you suppose we should start to panic?

Then we'll all burn; but I don't expect that to happen.

I can add baking soda to water; and at saturation, the water will cease becoming more alkaline. If it would continue to become more alkaline; it could give me a serious burn; when I use it for a mouth rinse.

I don't expect that to happen either.
