Confession is good for the soul. Well done! What did she say?

I don't know yet. Under the circumstances I decided it would just feel too predatory in nature - even if I myself am confident that that is not what is in my heart - for me to just say something right away. And not give her a few months of space, since until just at the beginning of this year she had apparently been seeing someone for a really long time, so, I thought to wait until the end of May. :)

That IS quite the commitment - I'm definitely going to head out there when this Corona thing is over (I'm sure we're all sick of hearing that word now.)

I needed to be sure! It was very peaceful. But I’m called to marriage and the man was having conniptions. And the Holy Spirit didn’t confirm it.

Of course I cried like a baby. Chanting in Latin? That ticks the box for many and I woke at 3AM for awhile.

I had no idea what I was getting into - she was a woman too, think that makes a difference? NO. I think she drank three pints to my one. And I slipped a few, so... Yeah.

Never again. That's the one and only time where I'm happy to lose to an Aussie.

*Howls*

That’s unreal!

There’s no need to rush. Allow her to move in your direction. Rest assured, if you feed her soul resistance is hard!

I wouldn't take anything they say or do too literally, especially when the entry level beers are 14% abv. I just KNOW that they're pouring quads over their cornflakes in the morning.

That's how the Aussie took me down. Imperial barley wine was the warm up.

Every one I know can down a bottle. That might be the culprit.

It is she whom I am finding difficult to resist, though. ^-^

That’s good. Being overcome has its merits. It compels you to move outside your comfort zone. I prefer a man who pushes the envelope and takes me outside my limitations.

If she‘s intriguing you’ll never be bored.

Owning your own little patch of weirdness REALLY helps I think. There needs to be a part of you that's totally obscure and WAY out - something that causes a wry smile and a scratch of the head.

Buoyant smiles aren't necessarily what you want, all the time. You've got to get them thinking (this goes for both sexes.) And whatever you do, it must be delivered with confidence.

Be sensible and sober!

I know. I couldn't do that, anyway. ^_^
But admittedly I do enjoy that glass or two of sangria.

You are truly cool. Don’t ever change. :)

I’m attracted to strength and confidence. I reenforce what’s true but he must know the same for himself.

I won't change. I might just tighten up on a few little nuances though, especially as I age a little.

Sangria. :bigeye: Yum! lol

Okay as you were :p

I see now why our hearts intertwined once so long ago, for however brief a time, Jennie; we both share a love of class. ^_^

I'm conflicted about this. I mean, I live for stouts, porters and BIPA's - I also enjoy me a pizza. But mulched together?

Not sure.
Trust me. Using a beer you'd drink instead of water or even going half beer half water for the dough recipe adds a wonderful layer of flavor. The dough should taste good on its own right, not just be a vehicle for the toppings.
I also make my own pizza sauce too.

As for beers, I prefer Imperial/ Double IPAs or stouts.

You had me at pizza.

Tell me when and where and I'll be there.
How 'bout Valentine's Day at the top of the Empire State Building?
:eheh:

Sangria. :bigeye: Yum! lol

Okay as you were :p
Sangria is the kind of stuff I'd put in a carafe with orange slices and stuff and let it sit in the fridge all day, then just sip it on the back patio in the evening after a long day.

I like how you respect the dough - I'll never understand why people leave their crusts. (I mean, clearly you like bread. Eat your crusts!)

If you ever get the chance, Other Half do an oat cream TIPA called Daydreamiest. I had it on tap in Brooklyn last year and I honestly think it's the best beer I'm ever going to drink - which believe ME is most definitely saying something. I've drunk and reviewed more beer than you've had coffees, I should think. (I'm part of a UK beer crew.) Then again, that is an assumption, beer is poppin' right now. (You might very well be twice what I am - if you are, get your liver tested.)

I think Daydreamiest is hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy - but I'd have to check. The can art is insane, you literally can't miss it. It sparkles like a Christmas decoration.

Sangria is good. I make it in the summer. :)

PS. I was thinking of Reese in my previous response. Sheeshers.

I think it's wise to take your time. Especially in this environment. Emotions are running high and its better to allow things to settle and move at a slower pace for a time.

Mister and I are doing the same. Being thrown together during a crisis is awkward. You have a lot to figure out in the midst of survival and balancing your emotions. Making decisions in that headspace has its challenges.

He's protecting both of us and appreciate his wisdom. And I earned a post pandemic dinner. He's cooking! But I'm uncertain about traveling at the moment for either of us.
