Thank you. We’ve grown and moved beyond our former places. Which is good. Our personalities are similar and we get along well. He’s kind and generous with an even temperament. He isn’t demanding. He compels me with his presence and character. His calm is reassuring. And he’s self-aware and supports my calling.

Of course all of that went over my head. Until they pointed it out. I can be a little slow. :p

~Bella

He sounds really great, and to be honest growing and being different people, even being a bit older can really do a lot for a relationship. I hope it works out for you :) And we all can be a little slow, haha. At least it's been pointed out and you're giving it thought. :D

I'm conflicted about this. I mean, I live for stouts, porters and BIPA's - I also enjoy me a pizza. But mulched together?

Not sure.

I recall a recipe using chocolate stout for tiramisu that looked incredible. But I’m uncertain if I’d add it to pizza. Beer bread I’ve done.

He’s an amazing man. If I knew we were friends I’d find him someone. My calling was a concern. He does commercial fashion photography on the side and knew what I was stepping into. He wants to look after his woman and I’m building a label. :p

He likes to dress his lady. I’m the designer! But I listen nonetheless. Because he’s earned it. And he’s got good taste.

I don’t know what God’s doing. Our trajectory is identical. I’m looking at London in 2021 and he’s doing the same. What is that?

And he’s younger. That took a little getting used to.

Tiramisu - 100%

I'd probably go IPA for bread, especially if it's hopped with Nelson Sauvin and/or Chinook. You want your bread nice and dank.

I'm getting a bit technical here.

Edit: I'm glad everyone wants to come to London. You're all seeing the light.

It does sound like God is definitely touching the situation. I would continue to pray on it, see where things go, don't rush anything but just feel him out. :) Never know, this could be the beginning of something wondering. Especially both of you wanting

I drink Chimay Blue. I’m not pouring it in bread! Three Brothers Cherry is amazing too. But not meant for bread. Pour it.

I concur. A man who cooks is seriously fab. I like the option of doing it together or having a night off.

What about ... a guy who can cook just well enough to make it through a Blue Apron recipe without burning down his kitchen? Would he have a chance with you, then? :p

Ah, so Lady Bella is a London gal. ... Just ... somehow seems like the kind of a place a classy lady like her would be living at. ^-^

Yeah, He’s in my business! :p

I want to see him settled and happy. Whether that’s me or another. His welfare is foremost.

I dropped the ‘F’ card but he ignored it. That’s the answer. :D

I have no problem waiting. That’s my preference.

Oh, there's hundreds. It depends on what 'ambience' you prefer, bars in Soho are buzzing, whereas the London Bridge area is a bit more slower paced and mellow.

I would share a drink with you though, genuine.

I love the Trappist stuff. A bit too much, actually. The last time I sessioned on anything from that region I was in Amsterdam and needed to be guided to the bathroom.

"So, where's the toilet?"

"Second door to the right..."

"Oh, okay..." *dubious glare* "erm, how far?"

"Come on, I'll help you"

True story, unfortunately. That's what happens when you session with Australians.

What is this "F card" you speak of? :mmh:
I might need to know the in-lingo of the dating game in case it somehow comes up as a test question here in a few weeks when I have chosen to finally confess my crush to the good (and cute ) Lady Erin, and it ends up determining whether this entire moment goes South or not. ^_^

I spent time in a Trappistine monastery. Surely that testifies to my commitment. I didn’t tell them that of course! Sister was 70+.

I dated an Australian. Mercy. Do they pour.

The ‘F’ bomb. It made perfect sense at the time. :blush1:

I said I hope we’ll always be friends. Mister swatted that away like a dead insect.

Confession is good for the soul. Well done! What did she say?

Pizza, huh?..... It just so happens that I've converted my grill into a makeshift brick pizza oven and I make my own pizza dough with guinness.... Juss' sayin'....
:cool1:
You had me at pizza.

Tell me when and where and I'll be there.

Very swell! Mister is making lemon bars and cooking up a storm while we SIP. He gets more attractive with every meal. :p

Does your mister have a brother?

Asking for a friend.

;)

Yeah, you can actually hear yourself think by the river. I do like the buzz though, but I've got to be in the mood for it.

That IS quite the commitment - I'm definitely going to head out there when this Corona thing is over (I'm sure we're all sick of hearing that word now.)

I had no idea what I was getting into - she was a woman too, think that makes a difference? NO. I think she drank three pints to my one. And I slipped a few, so... Yeah.

Never again. That's the one and only time where I'm happy to lose to an Aussie.
