Can I use a ouija board to communicate with God?

This thread is not about seeking spirits. It is about contacting God through a Board. Do you have any experience with that?

I felt the verse he posted was quite relavant.the Ouija board is used for communicating with the dead via a Demonic inspired practice.
Praying to .talking to communing with the dead is sin .
You come to God to communicate with him by humbling yourself ,repenting of disobedience and coming the way he tells us to come..through Jesus.
If we try to come any other way..through Ouija board or saints or Mary or idols or medications..he calls us thieves.

They sit and commune with the tree waiting for it to speak to them before they choose the wood to make it from ...

Yabut the point that I was trying to make was that the players of the instruments had to hand their talent over to God so as to no longer be a natural talent. Like preachers that have effective teachings only when prompted by the Holy Spirit. Or at least when prayerfully considering it. So maybe if they waited for the HS in the same way they waited for the tree to talk, then handing their talents to God would prolly be a good thing, ya think?

Not really..because that assumes the Holy spirit comes and goes from us .which Was the case in old testament times but now he indwells us .

Peter didn't fully know as he should know. The HOLY SPIRIT had not been poured out upon the disciples

Peter thought he was doing well telling the .LORD that no, HE wouldn't die

Receiving the Holy Spirit for living is not the same as receiving the power from on high for carrying out His work. jafyi. But I'm sure it is contrary to this thread.

The only way one can carry out HIS WORK is by the HOLY SPIRIT

And trust me, those born of HIS SPIRIT can clearly discern the works of GOD from the works of the enemy

All scripture is relevant. You described why you used the board when you use it. Are you sure that everyone used it for the same purpose you use it for and have the same results you did?

I cant say what they are for sure because I never tried them. Some people have bad experiences in churches. Would you tell them to proclaim that churches are bad because they heard bad things happened there, or that they experienced something bad there once or twice?

Yes we all have our idea of the right way to communicate with God. Do you assume that I disagree on these points because I chose to answer the OP question "can I use a board to communicate" in instead of the question you answered "What is the right way to communicate?"

Sorry, I always assume that when one speaks with authority or say that they know something or someone, that they have direct experience with it. Should I believe otherwise? When you say you know God or what He thinks and meant in His word....are you speaking with no experience from or with God? Am i reading opinions of People who have has no direct contact with God? Is this how it goes? Read up on things for a few year and then you can say you know it?

Can I read a driving book and then you trust me to drive you around even though I've never been in a car before? Why not? I've read the book many times and know by heart.....I can speak authoritatively about it....i know more about it than you.....I know the intentions of the author.....so according to you, I should be able to be trusted to drive you around in a real car without experiencing it.........right?

I'm telling you to pay attention to what they say and not accuse them of being liars first and then expect them to tearfully convince you that they aren't

You got it backwards. I assume that the people are telling the truth. And truth is only known through God and experience. You are telling me to no longer believe that it is truth", but to consider that it could be just opinions spoken as truth and to just believe it without question if it sounds like it is from close to my interpretation of the bible......which i told you i was willing to consider. so what is the problem?
